Conti owns Hoosier and the ECF was designed as an endurance tire not to compete with the super 200's.
My tire testing contact said on the RE71-RS
""32-34 hot. Maybe a touch lower. Be gentle under cold pressures. Or better still, start at 32 and hot bleed after a couple of easy laps once warm. These have a tendency to tear the center rib until you get a couple of cycles on them.""

Thanks for the info on the Bridgestones. I’ve run them on my GR86 and am familiar with center wear. Now I know why it looked like that! I usually start very low (24/25) since I get the tires hot fast and don’t want to waste the first session. Will try to take it easy first few laps.

Not mine but a classic case.

I'll be at COTA next weekend as well. Still have some life left on a set of SC3's from last year. They've been my favorite tire but since they're on backorder maybe I'll try the RE71RS once I'm ready for some 2023 tires.

Appreciate the offer but I've got a spot lined up. Would be great to meet up. I'll be in the gentian blue cayman #111 that's just trying to point everyone by quickly. What car number are you?
