Well from Dundon's latest dyno run with the GT4RS it looks like some modified GT4s are going to give stock GT4RS a run for their money. While the RS has a clear gearing advantage, the GT4 + Dundon exhaust is only 20HP shy of the RS. With a tune and updated back box a modified GT4 could likely match these numbers and is looking like a real steal with current market price for the GT4rs being 2x the "base" GT4.

Of course a similarity modified GT4RS would regain a significant advantage, and I'm sure that Dundon's magic will result in some jaw dropping gains (based on how restrictive the OE exhaust looks).

@BabyNSX

Yep, Dundon headers/OAPs are the best GT4 aftermarket tune available on the market.

Based on the RS having 4 apparent cats plus 2 GPFs, I suspect Dundon’s RS header/OAP solution will result in SIGNIFICANT gains as well.

Not sure the rear box is holding back TQ/HP that much?

Not sure either, but I recall Dundon saying that their prototype box did net them some power improvements. Given that < 3 HP improvement wouldn't be worth mentioning, and > 10 HP would be very unlikely, I would guess there might be 3-6 HP to be had by replacing the OE box.

By the way, I love the color of your GT4 . . . it is one of those colors I really enjoy seeing on other owner's cars, but not one I am sure I would enjoy on my own over time. I know that sounds like a back-handed compliment, but it is not at all.

Nah... I know exactly what you mean. There are plenty of colors out there that I think are truly awesome, but that doesn't mean I think they suit me personally. Thanks for the complement!

Here's one that's a bit easier to read. Some decent numbers from the car!

1. Are all four cats functional in the RS?

2. Do you have headers/OAPs already designed and ready to test for the RS?

3. Do you anticipate being able to dump two of the four cats and GPFs, basically creating the same header/OAP design as you have for the GT4?

Just a friendly reminder of how many GT4 owners are out here waiting for your rear box solution . . . compared to how many RS owners

I found the GT4RS header package (in the link below) and I had a question. Do the OAP pipes connect up to the OEM muffler?

Quite a few are out there and another one got installed over the weekend. Not sure if Tim is on here, but he's on IG...

Yes they do and our rear muffler should be finished up this week IRL, on the car for sound clips!

4RS version is in house, valves will be different for GT44/GTS version. But should have some pics and sound clips this week. (see above)
