Hi Jake,
I also live in Franklin, TN. but many times I just say Nashville as the majority of people know it instantly.
My SA was Matt Giorgio and Jim Dillard was working with Mark Majors at PON.
I do have the Racing Yellow stitching and love it.
Maybe ???
Once you take delivery Jim, You & I can do the Cars & Coffee at Jim Dillard's development.
Some very nice machines show-up at it.
Nice meeting you,
Terry

Race Car
Finally got a chance to drive a 992 GT3. Was frankly a bit disappointed.
Even if I could trade straight up, I would not give up my GT4RS for one. Even if it might be slightly slower and 'not a 911'.

Agreed!! It is hard to not be biased when you just bought a $200K RS car.
To really know, one must drive both cars back to back where the car is being pushed to 9/10th to 10/10th and compared and not be emotionally attached.
The criteria needs to be spelled out as well.
In general though, even a horrible car will be the best thing in the world to someone for sometime during the honeymoon period. New owners tend to not be very objective.

Correlation does not equal causation.
People can have preferences, based on a wide variety of factors. That's what is being discussed...preferences. We can only speak with authority on our own, not others.

I owned a 981 GT4, and I currently own a 991.2 GT3 and a GT4RS. The GT3 is better than the GT4 in every way. The GT4RS I like everything about it better than my GT3 sans the manual gearbox I love in the GT3. Car just feels tighter. Smaller. Better balanced. And sounds 9 times better. Still don't want to sell the GT3 though as it's such a fantastic car.

Is that a professional assessment or just another opinion.. like the quote you are responding to (not sue why it posted twice BTW)? I just find a lot of hypocrisy mixed with a dose of fantasy when it comes to some observations about these cars on this board that I enjoy pointing out when I can.

Now Bill makes a comment that he drove the 992 GT3 and would not give up his GT4RS for one. Neither of these opinions said the GT4RS is a better car mechanically, nor are they faster, or produce the better lap times, however they were very clear they preferred the GT4RS. I've seen these type of comments echoed by MANY on these forums, by those that have actually driven or own both cars currently. The GT4RS sounds like a great driving experience, even if it doesn't have the world best suspension. I find it super bizarre that you have such a hard time accepting these peoples opinions....even more so when you haven't even driven the GT4RS, let alone own one. You said a deman GT4 was, and I quote "WAY better" than a GT4RS in another thread.. I can only assume you haven't driven one of those either.
So yeah, there's clearly something wrong with you. It's almost like you are jealous that others are enjoying the 718 platform, where you were unable to.....at least without spending what sounds like a significant amount of money for you.
Let others enjoy their cars without tearing them down, because your behaviour is actually starting to become really weird now.

It's an educated guess. I've seen you call people naïve, delusional, special, hypocrites, and likely other names as well, all because their opinion doesn't align with yours. Read a couple of comments above where a GT4RS owner says he likes everything about it better than his GT3. Now before you jump down my throat, I know it's a 991.2 GT3.
