Then they have changed the US OM because mine, delivered in October 2022, is twice the miles (1864 miles) at no more than 4000 RPM. I had previously posted this and also said that I contacted both PAG and PCNA because the same engine in the US GT3 and for that matter in the GT4RS ROW reads exactly as your photo of your OM. Go figure?

Because it has already been posted nearly a dozen times... and FWIW it doesn't follow the book either.

Break-in, you either follow the printed manual or your own process, to keep asking in an attempt to validate what you are thinking of doing with a bunch of strangers on the internet... Why?

The US isn't the only country in ROW that has an English language owner's manual.

@SapphireBlue981S, is that a picture of your GT4RS's OM? I assumed it was so I thought they changed the OM.

Default 1500 kms

I followed the rules (1500 kms) it wasn’t that bad with a couple of weekend drives and now 🚀
I must say that from 7000 rpm (8000 rpm really) to 9000 rpm it is a whole different world. A screaming one 📢

This is what I will follow for my upcoming 4RS break-in. This is as per AP's basic principles of bringing a motor up to speed.

Pretty much what a Porsche factory trained mechanic said.

Your opinion but my mechanic, born and raised in Stuttgart, and has worked on factory racing teams is hard to dispute given his vast knowledge. We each have our own credentials, right roofer.

Do they break in engines on racing teams? What does working on a racing team do for credentials for breaking in a production car engine?

If it was that important they would have baked it into the computers software like Chevy did with the new Corvette, very easy to do with todays tech. The fact that it is not says a lot.
