Check out America1CU. I'm about to refinance with them and they are giving me 5.75% for 72 months.

Did you end up going through with them? If so, how was the process and timeline?
People seem to say they never respond to anything

I ended up going with LGE Credit Union. At the time they had 5.15%. They might only work with people who work or live around Atlanta though. The process was fast, one day to open the account and approve the loan, and I've never been on hold more than a few minutes when calling. Emails have been responsive as well.

Welp with my car incoming in about a month i figured it was time to dig up and toss a Phoenix Down on this old thread. Anyone have any leads on a Credit Union that has a low interest rate? Looking for something either either 60 or 72 month options. And dont require military history in order to get a loan.

Currently one of my credit unions America1CU is offering me 6.25% for 72 months.which has been the best that ive been able to find. But just curious if anyone has stumbled on anything even half a percent better.

Navy Federal just approved me on a truck loan at 5.04% for a 72 month term. It was lower than their advertised rate of 5.25% I believe.

I know its no help, but I was shopping CT5 BWs and noticed the dealer was offering 10.25% for highly qualified buyers lol. Like...can they at least TRY to be competitive or do they really not want people financing from them.

its crazy to cuz there are plenty of brands now offering interest rates that we were seeing pre-covid. VW has specials on their GTI which is 4.99% for 60 months. Hell for their Tiguan i think they are offering 0.99%. Even BMW for their EV lineup is offering as low as 3.5%.

Even Audi are offering some really crazy lease and finance deals.

Try:

DCU
Library of Congress CU
XCEL FCU

Some require joining some qualifying organization but the thresholds are low

Let us know how you make out.

Thanks! Looks like XCEL is the one to go with. Also thats a very easy join as all you need to do is be part of PCA which is easy to do. They also offer 5.99% for 72 months wihich is 25% under my current Credit Union.

Library of Congress CU is nuts though offering up to 114 months financing. but thats a lot harder to join as you need someone who works in government or is a vet.

How about half a percent + 1/10th of a percent lower? US Senate FCU approved me at 5.74% for 72 months

Just refinanced my CPO Spyder with Skyla credit union. Since it's considered a used car, I got 5.99% at 48 months. New car rates showing 4.99% at 48 months.
