Someone will come along who appreciates and likes what I did, or they can take off some extras and sell them to maintain the warranty. The engines are bullet-proof (at least mine is) and most people never benefit from a warranty other than maybe having a window switch replacement, which is still covered. And I am not waiting - life is too short and there are too many more different cars to buy & enjoy!

"I know you want to sell your car right now, but just wait a year" LOL. Definitely do not do that, come on!

Just price it low, make it easy for someone, and move on and enjoy the next one ya got!

You do realize he has been trying to sell his car for almost 2 years right? Obviously pricing it low is the way to move it, but In-lieu of pricing it low, the only (also risky) option is to wait. I don't think his definition of priced low is in-line with yours or the market. It doesn't take that long to move a spyder if you're priced appropriately

Not true. I had it listed for a while a year ago or so and Ryan, the person who bought my Targa GTS gave me a deposit on a selling price of $140k - ask him if you care to dispute it. But after driving it I refunded his deposit and just recently relisted it. I do not need any advice on selling, whether I should wait, etc. I am just advertising a car for sale. I have been around the block - 61 years old, over 50 vehicles and 20 motorcycles so I pretty much know what I am doing. Someone will see the car for what it is and buy it, sooner or later.

Okay - I admit to not being savvy on Porsche prices and perhaps having over paid on more than one occasion, but I'd really love some non-judgemental and meaningful input on a simple but good dilemma I am facing.

Lucky me has a '24 BGTS waiting for me at a dealership 1000 miles away. My plan was to drive my '22 4.0 BGTS with LWBS and 12k miles out to them, trade it in, and drive the new car home. But . . . the dealer is only offering $80k on the trade-in so I'm thinking I should eat the delivery cost and sell the car on my own. To beat the delivery cost plus tax savings I'll need at least $89k. Thoughts???

This is easy, give it to the dealer.

Disregard what dealer are asking for these, they are trading below MSRP.

You can check BAT for GTS closed auctions and with the exception of a recent bid war, most trade well below MSRP.

Better yet, have the dealer pick it up from you when they drop off the new car.

I feel it had to do with the strength of the US dollar and Canadians were willing to let them go for less in comparison. However Luxury Tax started being applied in 2022 so prices have increased.

Curious, what logic supports this statement? FUD?

Historically Canadian cars located in the US have sold at a discount relative to US cars. If you look at the history of pricing on BaT/C&B/PCAR, etc. for completed transactions, this is generally true. I'm not sure WHY given that they're made to the same standards regardless of where it was originally imported.

I believe the slight discount is due to the modest friction associated with owning a Canadian-spec car in the US. I have purchased two Porsches in Canada and have considered buying others, including those already in the US. It's not a big discount but it's also not zero.
