GT4RS or 991.2 GT3RS WP?
#16
I am next to last on the planet on the list for a GT4RS, it seems. I have one specced at my local dealer for about $190K (WP, mag wheels, etc,) but the dealer here is small, so I'd probably get a GT4RS at $50-100K ADM somewhere else if I got really lucky.
An acquaintance is selling his lightly tracked 2019 GT3RS WP w/ 10K miles on it since he has too many other obligations to enjoy it much. I drove it this morning and found it very similar to the '22 GT3 I drove at PEC-ATL last weekend. It has a full Dundon exhaust and sounds magnificent! The price is about $15K less than comparables online and is actually about how much I'd have to pay for a new GT4RS, I think.
The GT3RS WP is not exactly as I would order it, but when all is said and done, I love it & it is available NOW, and the GT4RS may not ever be for me, or at least not for a long while.
Should I pull the trigger on the GT3RS or wait for the GT4RS?

WOOHOO!!!
These are epic times!
Graduation from medical school
Getting married
Birth of my daughter
Bringing home my 991.2 GT3RS
I have NEVER been happier with a purchase
(but she will dance on you a bit...)
I can't bring myself to sell my '21 CGTS 4.0. The C8 hardtop convertible will have to go unless I build a 4th garage.

No.
The full Dundon race exhaust is LOUD, adds 40 bhp, & sounds fantastic, even better than the GT4RS! (I'm sure my neighbors already hate me.)
The performance of this track car is nothing less than amazing.
I don't feel the need to have a GT4RS anymore. :-)
Of course, in the extremely unlikely event that I get an allocation, I would consider buying a GT4RS
