Man, I certainly hope so, but I have the gut feeling that wiring harnesses are just the beginning of how this could go.

Changed the title.

We’ll let it run for awhile and then consider folding into Waiting Room if it warrants

Those builds impacted post up dealer/PCNA comments/info

The engine problems with the 991.1 ‘14’ GT3s May have pushed production into 2016

I don't think this is halt on production indefinitely. In the beginning it says explicitly that March production has been affected and that there will be early cutoffs of production for the month of March. I am guessing this will give their suppliers time to catch up. I am also guessing the orders that were slated after the cutoffs will be pushed to April. Now this does mean there will be a ripple affect which will further extend wait times for those currently waiting in line (I am one of those people). The big question is how long will the supply chain be affected which is any ones guess.

Just In Time inventory / production requires stability which is also in short supply now. It does show just how fragile the interconnected global production is.
Seems the Porsche production and management people have a less than enviable job now.
I cannot imagine what the Ukrainian people are going through right now, nor the teenage Russian conscripts sitting in those convoys. This is wrong and sad on so many levels.

Nah. MY23 for sure.

Also, if Porsche was making GT4s like @Adrift makes threads, we wouldn't have much to talk about on the forum

Heck, this should be a pinned announcement, if we think it’s true. It’s kinda big news.

This is definitely legit. My build now says 7/8/2022 delivery date.

I recently put my name on the list for a new GT4… looks like it could be a long wait… really long

Are you talking TYD or your V dealer report? You are kind of giving me a tiny bit of hope, because my TYD still holds for reaching CP8 on 4/1. Which according to that announcement, should not be happening. If your date got moved, does that mean holding dates have legitimacy? Or they just haven't gotten around to moving them yet? Ack! Probably the latter.

My finger is poised over the BUY NOW button on a temporary bridge car, if my actual car is somewhere out in the TBD blue sky of the future. There is a pretty PG one in town, but its PDK. Arg.
