Thanks! Is that stock SPASM ride height? Or something aftermarket? Appreciate it!

Apex Forged Enduro Line

Introducing the all new Apex Forged Enduro Line. Designed to withstand the combined stresses of extra sticky tires, crazy downforce, fast drivers, and inevitable mistakes. Available in two designs at launch. The VS-5RE and SM-10RE are strength optimized versions of our popular lightweight designs. Priced similarly to our Sprint line wheels, every enthusiast can choose which version is best for their needs.

Part of our commitment to Real Performance, these are our strongest and most durable wheels, with dramatically higher load ratings, stiffer spokes, and tougher lips than ever before.
There’s a constant industry push for lighter wheels, but if saving weight is the top priority then strength and stiffness can be compromised. We see it often in the pursuit of lower advertised weights, and many cars end up ill-equipped as a result. The reality is that all enthusiasts could benefit from stronger and stiffer wheels, while some critically require it.

Visit our website to place your pre-order now, wheels are set to arrive beginning in May. 25% deposit required to reserve a set.

Pre-Order Now

➡︎ 10K ton forged 6061-T6 aluminum

➡︎ Heavy-duty Enduro Spec inner lip

➡︎ Stiffer side-milled spokes and lip pocketing

➡︎ Stronger 2100 lb. load rating

➡︎ Capless hub design to reduce weight

➡︎ Paintless barrel & knurled beads

➡︎ Independently tested and certified

VS-5RE

The VS-5RE is the forged Enduro version of our popular VS-5 design. These wheels bring serious strength and durability to the split 5 spoke design Porsche owners love and gives endurance racers and hardcore HDPE participants a wheel that focuses on longevity and consistency.

SM-10RE

Will you be coming out with 20" sizes that clear the PCCBs?

There are no plans at this time to release 20" RE's at this time. I appreciate your interest but 18" and 19" are the focus for the time being. The Forged Sprint line 20" VS-5RS you already have on the car is an incredible wheel that is already quite stiff and up to the task of track use.

Good good, just checking. I've been playing around with the idea of picking up a second set of VS-5RS wheels (in a different finish than the ones I currently have - to mix things up from time to time) so my curiosity stemmed from that Congrats on the release of these new wheels!

@Apex Wheels I know you guys don't want to sacrifice on strength of the wheels but adding more weight is not ideal for anyone tracking their cars. Are there any plans to offer magnesium option for the existing Sprint line products? Should keep the strength intact while offering an increased weight savings. If you guys are willing to do so I'd be looking for a set

The thing is when sticking with the same material on a wheel that is already optimized, you cannot add more strength without more material which brings with it more weight. For most customers the Sprint line of wheels is more than up to the task of track use, I provided a great analogy for this in the GT3 forum (see here). The Enduro line is for the car making big downforce numbers on very sticky tires or for customers wanting extra headroom in wheel strength. Everyone who’s already tracking their car on Sprint line wheels doesn’t need to upgrade to this new line. This line is the solution for the hardcore track enthusiasts who require the extra strength and stiffness that the RE provides. Despite the added material and strength, we priced them the same as the Sprint line equivalent to allow you to make the decision that is the best fit for you and your car, not your wallet. At the end of the day, if what you need is the lightest wheel we make that meets our standards and has been thoroughly track-tested already, then the Sprint line is the choice for you.

Magnesium isn’t a reasonable solution. It would push wheel pricing into an entirely different bracket and that’s not a fair comparison to what this wheel achieves at this price point. On the contrary, heavier wheels are very common in racing. Other than super high budget racing classes, most serious race cars are running beefed up aluminum wheels that are heavier than what is being marketed to the general public by aftermarket brands. And just for some context, even with the added weight of the Enduro line, we are still lighter than the stock GT4 wheels.

Hi Brandon - I bought a set of SM10 flow formed wheels to use on the track in Nov. 2022 (Black Friday sale) in 19x9 et50 and 19x10.5 et44. Love them, but both fronts are already bent a little (the RF is worse) but still usable, and the RR has some curb rash. LR is fine. I was thinking of getting a set of the SM10-RE to replace them. I was reading your replacement policy, but that seems to be like-for-like.

Will you be making these sizes/offsets eventually with the SM10-RE?

There is a chance we offer the 19x10.5"ET44 in the future but that all depends on demand. We already offer the 19x9"ET48 (slight offset adjustment) and 19x11"ET48 which can potentially work on your car. Shoot me an email expert@apexwheels.com and I can go over the specifics of using that wheel on your Cayman.
