curious if then you no longer recommend using your Sprint line for track use?
We absolutely recommend using Sprint Line wheels for track use. Let’s use an analogy. Think of the Sprint Line wheels like a Ford F250 truck and the Enduro Line like an F450 dually that you’d use to tow a trailer. Both are already optimized for hauling loads, one is just rated for heavier loads. If you’re pulling a load that’s fine for the smaller truck, then the bigger truck just handles it with more ease, and experiences less stress and wear on everything. But if you’re towing something extra heavy, then you could over load the F250.
Almost all cars that go to the track are fine on Sprint line wheels. But some people have cars with huge wings and splitters that add hundreds of pounds of downforce, combined with racing slicks that can achieve really high G’s, in cars that are heavy to start with, and are then driven by someone who can drive all of that to the limit. An application like that is the person who needs the F450 of wheels. Not because the wheel will simply fail, but because the wheel is closer to its limit, and when you add an extra spike of stress from an event like an off track excursion from a mistake, or you hit a berm really hard, then you want that extra safety margin. Everyone else driving a more normal application would have more peace of mind and buffer room

I finally got tires on my Apex wheels. Nankang CRS tires and they are meaty. The front upper brake duct had to be removed as the tires rubbed on full lock which is disappointing. I may see if they can be modified to fit as the air flow is important at the track.

Looks amazing Dreamer, thanks for sharing. I'm going to shoot you a DM to try and lock down why you are seeing this duct issue since we have never seen this before.

Good talking to you today Brandon. I really appreciate the product support.
Some of you may have already seen the reveal of this project on https://www.instagram.com/apexwheels/, but we wanted to reach out to the Porsche community on the forums as well to collect feedback about the development of a new wheel design.
Project ML-10 Background:
After Josh, one of our Senior Product Engineers installed a widebody kit on his race car project, he had to design a custom set of wheels to fit his extreme application. Originally a one off project, when he showed the team what he created, we were floored. And our community was too when we shared a picture on Instagram and Facebook.
We’ve made it an official project, but to make this wheel a reality, we need you to decide on some of the details by taking our survey.
