You are correct. My 16 GT4 was delivered with sofas and I walked.

My freeze point got shifted out and the production and delivery date of my 4 GTS went from May to…blank.
I called my SA who confirmed that there is a stop order on PCCBs, and 6 week delay on PDDC and several other options.
Has anyone experienced a past stop order for PCCBs?

The bottom line is, are PCCB's essential to your buying the car?
Will the cast iron rotors stop the car?
Do you want this gen Spyder, or the next?
Your move.

Not at all, assuming I get a chance to accept irons. I'll just go the ST retrofit route and get my calipers either replaced with AP or just painted yellow. (ST makes a small conversion kit for irons to their PCCB-sized replacements)

But will I get the chance? And as was pointed out in the thread above, to proactively change my build is REALLY rolling the dice wrt to getting a car at all.

And if the used market seems high now, imagine the bounce if MY '23 doesn't materialize.

I don't think there will be a Next Gen ICE spyder, unless you mean the notional RS. Then YES, I want that one. With a MT. lol

I just want my dealer to upload my latest build (V10) so that I'm locked in. I texted my SA yesterday to remind him. My date has drifted and it is not even my current (and final) build.

I don't see the concern. My spec with PCCBs locks 3/24 with a 4/8 build date. Yeah it got pushed back a few weeks from 3/4 but everything moves these days.
You have an April build, not July. If you're car was entering production in July I could see your concern.

I'm forever the optimist, but I think you're over thinking things.
