I'm considering swapping my RS for a Spyder. I've been waffling for a while ... love the RS but I bought a race car and the RS is overkill for just street driving. If anyone has taken delivery of a 718 Spyder in the PDX area +/- 200 miles or so, and would be willing to show it to me, I'd be grateful. A ride in the passenger seat would be even better, but not pushing my luck....

What no offers for a shotgun experience? Too bad I am a little out of range, in another country and living on an island... or I would happily offer a ride in my Spyder!

I am pretty sure there are a number of Spyders a lot closer, this reply serves as a bump for your post back to page one...

I have to agree with Westcoast. I love the sound of rain on a canvas top.

Thx for offer Sprocket3. I had a 981 GT4 so while not identical I have a pretty good idea what that is about. Loved it, but it's the convertible that has caught my eye this time around.

Making one more run at this. Surely there is a 718 Spyder somewhere in the PDX area? My Spyder order is in, but having a hard time letting go of the RS and no room in garage for both. Appreciate any leads!

I’ll have my Spyder down at Musicar for an audio upgrade as part of an Avants event. The date is up in the air but it will either be late Feb or early March. I’ll be happy to show it to you after they finish their upgrade. I think another member will be there to hear the Kline exhaust.

I guess you are partly right, really heavy rain is a little louder on the canvas roof I'll give you that

We are up in Seattle area fairly regularly for my son's soccer games. (Including next weekend.). I will PM you some dates. If any are convenient for you, maybe we could meet up.
