headlight condensation?
Hi All-
Am wondering if this is common or if I should be concerned.....this is my first new Porsche and today I noticed some condensation inside both headlights....I've never seen this before in the 6 months I've had the car, but it's also getting colder and wetter here in Seattle so thought it may be related to that.....after a few hours I checked them again and they were clear. I keep the car outside but in a covered carport.
Has anyone else experienced this?

For whatever reason Porsche does not have sealed housings so that can be normal.
If it doesn't go away with driving after a certain distance it may not be normal. There is a TSB I posted 9 months or so ago with 4 different levels of the problem and Porsche's solution for each level. Ranging from enjoy your car to housing gets replaced. Yours isn't that bad from that picture.

I can’t find it now either. I swear there was a note about it. i’ll check my printed manual next time I’m out.

Normal, particularly this time of year when the weather gets cooler.

I’ve had the same problem a week or two ago and like OP was a bit worried. I texted UncleDude and he confirmed it’s normal. It was on a wet cold day after pulling into my warm garage. Sure enough it cleared up about an hour later.

Yes based on numerous responses here (thank you!) I've come to realize the fogging is normal.....it's interesting to me though....I think most car manufacturers seal the housings and you almost never see them fog unless there is an 'issue' while Porsche vents theirs....I'm assuming the venting is a seperior design (becasue hey, it's Porsche!) but just wondering what the advantage is versus sealed housings...(idle curiosity more than anything at this point).

you got snow in Vancouver BC? That's kind of unusual, isn't it? I thought Vancouver weather was similar to Seattle....

Yep we get a few days of snow per year as does Seattle, my brother lives there. It melts in a day or two. You are right very similar weather between the 2 sister cities. The snow pic was a day or two after the headlight fog episode, attached it by accident to the post

Just noticed this today after 6 months ownership. It was the first time driving below 50 degrees. I was a bit unsettle but after reading this thread I feel better 👍🏼

All but normal until you end up with condensation marks left inside the housings once they clear up.
This may not happen right away, but it might over time. TBD....
