The 918 in person just didn't do anything for me. The weird ugly rims and green brakes are a big turn off for looks. I sat next to one when I got my allocation and I was more interested in looking at the mclaren they had sitting next to it. The Carrera GT look from the front end is a masterpiece but the car isn't perfect either. It's too long so the side profile is odd and the roof is ugly.
I'm not sure if I'd say the 718 spyder is definitely better looking than those 2 cars, but I don't think it has any flaws in the looks department which both those other 2 cars definitely do have.

As mentioned on page #1, I still like the 991.2 GT3 Touring and at the time of posting that I had a yellow GTS 4.0L. I could not get the spyder out of my head and a few years later I landed this beauty - the best looking car in the Porsche lineup! No question in my mind. I also noticed that this car, and the GT4 have a very close interpretation of the 918 Spyder front bumper design.

I kid you not.
Did take out pizza today - the teen girl that brought out to the car began to tear up as she admired it. She said it was just "so pretty"... this was coming from someone who's not "into cars" but just thought it was such a beautiful thing...
I do also think she may have been a bit high LOL! But hey - I won't judge!

I've been a Porsche guy for 40 years....since I was 13. My first love, forever car, and go-to car is and always will be a 911. But the title of this thread and the car it references is correct. Perfect balance of aggression and "pretty". The 718 Spyder nails it for me. And key for me, it has the dynamics to back up the looks.
I'll take a 000 package Spyder in either grey or green with PCCBs if anyone is feeling generous.
