Just got a call from my dealer in the Boston area. They have two allocations, one is a VIP going to the dealerships owner. Second allocation they're auctioning and asked me for 175,000 over MSRP. They claim to have a standing offer of 150k over. No thanks and good luck with that. Guess I'll buy used once the market slows next year. So insane...

I hesitate to make this post. I recall just how terribly frustrating it was trying to get an allocation on the original GT4. But I am please to say after 7 years of waiting, it looks like I will be back in the seat of a GT4, RS this time. My long long long ago order demand went V200 this week, completion date 9/16. So I totally understand if you are still waiting and am in no way gloating. But I am very happy. And a bit surprised that there has not been another hiccup (at least not yet!)
The price of the GT4RS has risen to nose bleed levels when considering that the perfectly awesome 2016 GT4 cost me only $89,500 when new. But when you are a Cayman addict as I am, and they finally build the ultimate Cayman, what can you do except say "thank you, I'll pay". I recall turning down a 991.1 GT3 allocation because the build was $153,000 - crazy money I thought back then. It was so high it even included a "luxury tax" for the uber wealthy. Now, the new GT4RS is even more. Logical? I think not, but I am not thinking this time, just doing.
Congrats! I have had a deposit in for many years on one as well so I can empathize on the wait. Glad to see you got a relatively early RS allocation, I hope I am as lucky someday soon.
You're lucky. I got 2 TYD links and neither works properly on PC, on mobile neither works. My original one, prior to the MY shift, worked out of the box.
