I was just offered the 4th allocation by my dealership... with ADM of $100K !!! The first 3 went to 918 owners, so the 4th allocation is now "on the market" with an outlandish ADM.

Of course, I declined and politely asked them to let me know when there is a more "reasonable" offer at, or near, MSRP. I might be waiting a long time, or forever. Maybe the craziness will abide when the next halo car comes out, like a 992 GT3RS....

I'm going to be patient as the GT4RS will be a 2-2.5 year run....

Watch the video around the 19:15,Andreas Preuninger stated the GT4RS is not a limited model, will be a 2-2.5 year run and should be plenty of availability as long as there is a large demand. The US base price is ~$143k, add 20-25k of options for $163-168k plus tax.... entering GT3 price point.

will be interesting as the C8 Z06 Corvette may draw more attention as the price point and performance may be more appealing..... first year will be tough but the Z06 is not limited as well..... the ZR1 will be a different story

do we know if the first models coming will by MY22 or MY23?

My dealer, for example, received 5 allocations, of which the last allocation stretches well into 2023, and it may be a MY24 model depending on production cut-offs. I wonder how many more slots will be released before they end 4RS production?

Overall agree that we will see the initial wave calm down, especially as the 992 3RS comes out. Most dealers I am calling today are demanding a higher ADM for the 4RS than the GT3, which was surprising at first. The general consensus is that it will be a rare car, but as AP says, they are building this to be the first RS car for China giving me the thought that they are planning on running high production numbers.

I would suggest you look/search for the TYD pics posted on here.

It's easy to say this, but hindsight is always a wonderful thing. Let's see how many they can squeeze out. My dealer who just got me my 4RS has sold all of the GT3 allocations for 22 & they aren't expecting many more for 23 and they've still got a list of 30 people who want cars. They're not accepting an order unless you agree to $150k over. The demand is out doing the supply massively.

I did a quick search online today for 992 gt3s for sale, and they were almost all $320k and over.

Makes that $260k one I recently passed over look like a huge mistake to have missed.

This was the one I believe I saw posted on Instagram. I'm not sure it was a real car.

Oh, it was real. I actually saw it being delivered a few months before. My SA had sent me an urgent “that car is here for $260k!” text earlier that day. Now I know why the message was urgent. It was apparently way under market value; sold that same day.

I heard approximately 200-300 to North America in MY22 but we will not know until the US order banks opens.....

both GT4RS or GT3 should not be over MSRP - if people are willing to pay then dealers will keep the ADM..... I'm going to be patient and hope to land an allocation for MY23

The only confusing thing that I've seen is how the allocations were issued. I've been first on the "list" for 3.5 years. My dealer got notice that they are receiving 1 allocation for MY23. They didn't received any MY22 slots. It is buildable next month.

If Porsche says it will be a 2-2.5 year production run, does MY22 count since very few cars were issued? Also, If they've already notified dealers of MY23 allocation who is to say that more will be issued. Porsche seems to be having trouble making any vehicles right now so I just dont see them making a large supply of RS

Default GT4RS Allocation

How much over msrp are GT4 RS allocations going for? I have someone that has an allocation where he has rights to sell directly to a dealer or individual but he has no idea of how much it is actually worth. Some dealers have offered him $40k for the slot but we’ve heard that it’s worth a lot more. I’m just trying to collect some data points.

Hi Morjo,

US order bank is open. I have my MY22 for a May Build & I am taking euro delivery on it.

A lot of dealers have been saying they received 5 or more allocations, but I have heard that is most likely not the case from a lot of people. Unless they're counting VIP slots.

I've also heard about dealers that didn't get a single allocation that are still collecting deposits from people and promising them cars that they just will not see.

It is higher than that by a good amount, and PAG has shifted to GT4 RS's over standard GT4's - if you want a shocking number, try calling dealers and asking for a GT4 allocation. The 718 GT4 is going to be the benefactor of the GT4 RS madness it is looking like.
