Good news, but I'll believe it when I see a confirmed order posted stating MY25 or the site is updated with MY25 pricing. SAs have no more info that most of the folks in this forum who are in the know. It's certainly possible (even likely) that there will be some MY25 production, but I'd leave it at that until it's confirmed by Porsche itself.

that’s great news! More people can enjoy, I’m guessing it will go down near msrp with the expected price hike. Did your SA reveal the new msrp as well?

I kind of doubt 4RS price will be anywhere near MSRP as any price hike by Porsche has nothing to do with ADM charged by dealers. Also have no idea how many actual cars would be produced for MY25 may only be a couple of months of production for MY25. I guess we shall all see soon enough... Stay tuned same Bat time Same bat channel...

My guess is that 4RS will continue into MY 2025, but allocations will continue to only trickle out, so ADM will continue to be substantial. Remember that this is the GOAT Cayman and the last of the ICE Caymans.

What are you talking/dreaming about??? MSRP price hikes have NOTHING to do with ADM.

Everyone went off the rails on allocations again lol

if the msrp went up 50k, there would be no ADM…so yes, msrp very much does.

If they dropped the msrp 50k, I imagine ADM’s would rise lol. This is literal math

Well there's a little nuance there right? The reason why there would be no ADM if msrp went up $50K is because folks would not respond well to a $50K price hike year-over-year

+$10K MSRP is likely to just get priced in and shrugged off

people never learn. porsche is here to make money. They are going to keep making cars until it feels like the demand is going down. Same story with 718 GT4 and Spyder. same story with 991.2 GT3 and RS.

And even then it might not fit my particular use case - louder, faster, harsher, more squirrelly is not that appealing and I likely would not hold onto a 4RS long enough to turn it into a value proposition. If Im gonna spend double or more its gonna be a GT3 or Turbo S or go the other direction and get an older version like a 997

Please read the following lighthearted... just my guess...

Porsche will keep making it as long as there is demand AND as long as the business make sense. There is strong demand for a manual 4RS/SRS, but Porsche hasn't made it yet.

Porsche builds 718s from vw osnabruck, the staple of the osnabruck plant is T-Roc Cabriolet. It is already announced that T-Roc Cabriolet is getting cancelled in 2025 and the production stop by end of 2025. From videos I watch, the T-Roc line and the 718 line is literally side by side. My guess is 718 stops when T-Roc stops. Since that is great opporunity to retool the plant for vw electrification.

On another front, you can't build a car without an engine. Somebody posted that the cup engine contract ends by 2025. I do think there is some truth to that because this generally lines up with the 911 lines as well. Porsche already killed the 992.1 GT3. GT3 always come in 4 year cycle, so the 992.2 GT3 will announce later this year as a MY2026, It should carry a new engine with all the new hybrid stuff. I just don't see how Porsche can spin the 992.2 GT3 as a new model unless they change the engine, each generation there is significant change (991.2 come with a new engine, 992 come with massive suspension change).

Beyond engine, parts also matters. 718 has always been Porsche's after-thought and re-use 911 parts. I don't see Porsche keep contractors making those older steering wheels, center console switches, dash trims... It doesn't make business sense. Modern Electronics/Software have a fast deprecation cycle, they will get to a point that they just can't make PCM4.0 anymore.

So my guess is MY2025 is end of ICE 718. These all just make sense if looking it as a business.

Someone posted they are making 150 4RS per month. I think they can do another 2,000 to 2,500 before all is said and done... exceeding the number of GT4s produced.

I think I agree with that. Porsche is on the record saying they don't make cars for collectors, but for drivers. But even with the 2500 extra, I just don't think that is enough to satisfy demand. But yeah I don't expect 4RS to be some sort of ultra rare car. It is just a good car that everybody wants. Do note that the production capacity needs to be split with SRS too.

Thankfully, it is definitely NOT a rare car. It encourages ppl to drive them and not be precious with them—miles or otherwise.

I do wish Porsche made more so we didn’t have to deal with adm, but I’m just happy they decided to build it in the first place and not make it a limited run.
