Who knows if the R is still on the table with all the production issues/delays/supply chain/etc.
Are there really production issues? Number of cars produced has gone up each year for the past few years. They're cranking them out, it's just that the production of sports cars isn't keeping up with the demand.

Yes, look at the start of GT4RS production, lots of issues. PCCB's on stop sale, buckets had a stop sale, PDLS+ had a stop sale, etc. Most PTS production GT4RS's did not get all the options they wanted with the production issues. SRS is now starting at a new plant where they shifted production too and you can see in the configurator there's alot less options(no yellow stitching, other interior bits, etc) to choose from which I assume they did on purpose. Porsche also had planned to deliver some early 4RS's at the 140k MSRP they started at to NA but not a single car arrived with that starting MSRP.

Think last count was they produced about 1500-1600 4RS's for NA since the start of production and them prioritizing NA over ROW which may get re-adjusted as production ends. That's not alot.

Incredible. Great info thanks. These cars are true collectibles. I would buy another if I could!! My local dealer in the NE has 2 more looking for buyers. Considering what I just read I think they should be snatched up!

Things may have changed in the one year I was given this information but that's what my guess is based off of.
We need a cleaning lady update! lol If there is a MY25 SRS, I think I have a decent shot at an MSRP car (depending on production numbers, of course), but otherwise, if I want in on the party, I'll have to sell the kids for ADM money for a MY24!

If I buy you a plane ticket @cooler2442 , does that get'r done?

Unfortunately you won't get a cleaning lady update from me, she will be at Rennsport but I will be in Japan for F1 Suzuka during Rennsport. She only communicates in person and not through messages on these matters.

I'll make sure to show Porsche this email if they decide to end after MY24. "But poofyo said...!!!!!"

Given the late start for NA for MY24, would seem they have to have SOME production for NA in MY25.

Yes there really are production problems. My 4RS was ordered in July 22, low option and it did not arrive at the dealership until June 23 almost one year from confirmation date to delivery.

Osnabruck production appears to be anything but running smooth - yet. GT4RS production virtually is standing still right now, with ROW getting more of the few cars they manage to produce. If that doesn't get resolved quickly I'd say a full MY'25 is not out of the question.

Oh sorry was thinking you were saying they were going to make the 4RS in '25 which I'm doubting.

I was at my Porsche dealer today (Germany) to lock down my GT4RS and saw the allocation of build slots into 2024—mine in November ‘23, one in Q1/24 and it looked like 2 for late 2024…but the last 2 may simply be their projections…mine and the Q1 builds were confirmed/sold (checked boxes).

Good info. Seems to confirm that there will be more allocations.
