Uhmmm...read my response.... its a 2023 Production car... it will not be announced until early 2023 and enter production mid-2023. In the ROW, thats a 2023 car. Its not like the US. It has no concept of a MY 2023 car being built in 2022. Only the US could come up with that. And BTW, GT4 RS will enter production early'ish 2022.

I certainly would not exclude the possibility of a version of the Spyder getting some of the (engine) goodies that the GT4 RS will get.
But calling it the RS seems a stretch. It's one thing to stick the RS badge onto a Cayman for the first time ever, but an open top car? We're not talking about about an M or AMG badge here. Porsche slapping RS badges on cars that are in no way what RS stands for would be quite uncharacteristic. You don't buy a Spyder to go to a racetrack, you can't put a lot of aero on it and stuff like the GT4 RS side window intakes to drop intake temps on track are literally impossible to fit to it.
If it happens it will/ought to be named differently.

However, the 2008 Boxster Spyder RS60 was just a parts bin numbered cash generator so there’s that.
