Thanks! Now I don’t feel dumb every time I see the wart on my 981 Spyder. It was forced.

Is it me or does the 718 Spyder RS configurator not show the wart? Would it be in the same place as on my 981 Spyder?

XM is an APP on Carplay if you forgo the antenna.

If you like the exterior/interior trim changes, WP is an outstanding value. I love the hood stripe.

Get the seats you prefer, the 18 ways are outstanding.

No bad choices and most of the configurator is aesthetic stuff anyway so pick what you like.

It's the exact same as the 718 Spyder. Did not show on the configurator... but it was there for NA cars.

Maybe I am blind but I don't ever remember seeing it on a Spyder. I do have one on my 911 but it's not in the same location.

I have yet to see a picture of a Spyder RS with the antenna, I would think that it would be in the same place it has always been on these cars (981/718).

The configurator specifically states elimination of the antenna. So hopefully for my car that means they don't put it on.

Only if you selected the option... otherwise you will have the wart.

Android as well, so if you have the subscription and a wireless data plan you can listen that way too.

Interesting, if it has a XM antenna that would be unusual, as it seems that it might not be a very popular option. Would this be a SRS arriving in Toronto then?

I was thinking that if the PCM still has the connection on the back I could buy an XM antenna from Amazon and hide it elsewhere!

Anyone know what the 1410 kg curb weight of the RS includes? Eg WP , FAL, iron brakes etc ?

only the base “free” options. This includes LWB and iron brakes, but not FAL, not WP, not mag wheels .
