I would say the last is pretty representative too.

It helped me pick up the blue-ish tint that isn’t present in the configurator pics imo. I think I had the 991/981 (last new cars I’ve spec’d) slightly more neutral grey stitching and insert color palette in my head. It’s a blue grey. So I’ll go back and re-think my overall color scheme and/or pay 3k for dev stitch.

Anyone have a decent pic of what the arctic grey stitching looks like? Someone mentioned to me that it has a fair amount of blue in it. It wouldn’t be the first time I paid extra for a different grey thread for dev stitch or even paid for black which takes away deviated stitch all together. However, I’m cognizant of that being one of the biggest wastes of money ever as far as options (imo)! 3k for a slightly diff grey or black; you gotta really not like the default stitch.
Afaik the seat centers are either Arctic Grey or Deep Sea Blue. But you can go aftermarket as well, might be cheaper than CXX

Is the SRS supposed to make this horrifying sound hitting the rev limiter? (10:20)

That noise is just bouncing off the rev limiter and its normal. I feel like my 4rs slurred the shifts near the limiter compared to my 992 gt3 pdk. They feel like different boxes altogether and the 4rs gearbox feels a bit faster below redline and on downshifts. However the redline behavior on the gt3 is more crisp. The intakes on the 4rs let you hear the shift behavior more clearly

If you search Google for Arctic Grey stitching, it won’t take you long to find it. Also if you search through some cars dot com or autotrader ads for cayman GT4 RS, you’ll easily find real pics.
Sorry, I’m out right now and can’t dig in to this. But the stitching is definitely blue-ish and fairly dark. You’ll see the matching Arctic Grey seat centers on the bucket seats on many cars with the Arctic Grey stitching. Very blue-ish.

I saw a GT4 RS up close today and it had Arctic stitching, really thought it was blue until owner confirmed the color. So while it may seem like a waste, if you really don’t want a blue hue in it, you’ll have to go deviated.
