This thread has been reduced (elevated?) to fashion.
Are we getting any more reviews? All I learned from the reviews so far is that it's a very good car, will handle at least as well as a 4RS on the road, sounds similar to and better than the 4RS, and the top is indeed a pain to deal with.

As for the top, I don't see it being any harder than the current Spyder top, and because it seems to allow for access to the trunk without releasing the latch at the windshield, I see that as another bonus in addition to the sunshade aspect.

Regarding the bolded statements, the information about option details helps those configuring the SRS to make choices for their build, so in that sense 'fashion' is important, you know how body colour gets them going!

I was at dealership yesterday with Spyder for PADM service. I spoke to my SA about SRS. He said they expect a good allotment of cars - and asked if I was still interested, as I have a deposit, which I gave 2 years ago hoping the rumoured SRS car would have GT3 engine coupled with a manual. I got half my wish. I’m not interested in pursuing, as I’m very happy with my 718 Spyder and I’m a die hard manual guy. No guarantee I would get one, but happy for who ever is behind me in line to move up. It will be a collector car for sure.
As an aside, he also said they were sent a bulletin from Porsche saying “that 718’s in the system (orders) wouldn’t be met (delivered). Not sure if issue is shortage of parts, or getting ready to make the switch to the 718 EV. I’m sorry for those who expect a car and won’t get one.

"System orders" sounds like demand orders to me. So if you don't have an allocation, you are not getting a car. Which models this is in relation to, that's the question that needs answering. My guess will be all (non RS) 4.0L cars. I think they'll continue with the turbo variants.
