Archimedes: Some guy on rennlist. Can't see the forest for the trees. Lives in a black and white world.
Seems more ironic.

Not sure if you guys saw the 2020 Deman 4.5 sale on Pcar yesterday. I'm kinda kicking myself for not trying to buy it as the listings the owner posted elsewhere they were asking $200 and came back with some snarky remarks when people were questioning the price. Ended up hammering for just under $160K.
The car had 54K worth of Deman work done seems like a good deal to me.

I think it's more indicative that heavily modified cars are not desirable. I remember trying to tell the resident know-it-all Dnimi this when he was trying to argue the value of deman modified car over a GT4RS. Considering GT4RS's are still selling for well over MSRP in the used market, and this Deman car took a massive hit, only confirms my point.

Porsche of Destin has a trade 2022 GT4 Manual in GT Silver - good looking car. Has LWB seats, clean, 4,xxx miles, sitting on their showroom, MSRP of $117,XXX, they have it priced at $139,000 ask. Don't know what it will fetch, but sight unseen sales on Bring a Trailer have sold in the mid $125 ish, plus buyer's premium. So I'm guessing its worth between $125 - $135k. Available as of this posting. Ask for Tommy, a helpful fellow, with a non-salesmans' approach.
