I find that app interesting because it is easy for me, I have no knowledge about coding, but I just finish coding my car through one tap on this app, there are many models but I didn't check yet, at least it is enough for me to use now.
Where did you buy the OBD connector that is suppose to work with the app? This appears to be still in Kickstarter (Vaporware) stage.
I am a backer on kickstarter of their project, I have received the parcel and tried on my car, I find it interesting because it really works for me, though I know nothing about coding.
The project seems like it is over, but you can ask them through email when will start again, they also have social media like facebook, ins, tiktok, youtube...
you may follow if you are afraid you miss something.😉
Considering this guy just joined this month and is posting generic info about a specific app - my pessimism is leaning towards the fact that this guy doesn’t own a Porsche (not a requirement, obviously) and is just spamming us about the app he “backs.”
Splash guards… hoping these will help with the crappy roads and gravel we have around Texas. Highly recommend them and waiting for him to develop a set for the rears since that gets blasted the most so far.
They definitely helped me, I ended up making my own and used magnets no less. 😝. They’re along the same lines as my magnetic plate mount.
I don’t think they look awful either (and I can easily pop them off in two seconds if I want). But factory ones would be nicer for sure.
For the front, I just screwed a metal plate to the plastic inside fender well for the magnets to stick to.
The Rears were tricky, I had to make brackets that attached to the wells.
Once installed, they don’t look too bad, but I’d really love it if the aftermarket made them.
Front was easy to install
Back required making two mounts per side due to inner well being recessed.
Wasn’t easy.
The function list should be able to see even without the adapter.
Speaking of the adapter as I know it only works with their adapter, its name is G1?
I got one since I supported their project on kickstarter, it seems like they are a new company.
They may start to sell the adapter soon? Or may be you can write them an email to ask when will they start officially.😁
Interesting, perhaps they make their money on the adapter because it looks like the app is a free download? Do you have to pay for enabling a function on you vehicle?
I already have a BT OBD adapter that I use for another app, Torque.
If you don't mind me asking. Where did you get the JCR kit from, and did you take it to a shop/dealer for the installation?
after looking extensively for a used piece, i bit the bullet and bought from JCR directly. will have my dealer install. its coming today so very excited....

👍🏻👍🏻 Getting the dealer to do the installation might be expensive, but at least you will retain the full factory warranty.
I'm definitely thinking of doing the same. How much did the whole thing worked out if you don't mind sharing the details.
it’s a rather simple object. Would you think differently about them if they were made by child laborers overseas somewhere?
I just made the mounting bracket’s and bought the Magnets from KJ Magnets
I bought the universal fit splash guards from Advance Auto Parts, those probably were made by Child laborers somewhere
If anyone wants to see how I did it, I’ll make a new thread on it.
