given the current crazy state of the car market what prices are you all seeing. I am waiting to order a GTS 4.0. I am in CA/ AZ and dealers are telling me MSRP, no discount. Dealers in CA are marking the GT4 up $20,000 ADM!

also please note when you purchased. The market is not real stable

I am paying a couple of thousand below MSRP. Here in Australia availability hasn't been constrained so nobody is paying above MSRP. Production has hit more snags since I ordered so these things keep changing. The used market has definitely spiked a little since I placed my order.

MSRP for me. As I’ve written before, I felt lucky to stumble on an allocation.

$3500 off a new 2021 Spyder that I took delivery of this past week, plus $799 dealer fee so the discount was not as big as it seemed. Same dealer is now at least +10k on any sports car.

Yes, but I think Porsche and your government rape you guys on car prices so I'd imagine after China, Porsche would send you guys as many as they can without flooding your market. MSRP on a GT4 in Australia is almost twice what it is in Canada.

$2,500 over MSRP for a 2022 GT4. I test drove a 981 and decided to pass on it because they where dead set on MSRP for a 6 year old car. 3 days later they called and offered an allocation for a new GT4. They wanted $5k over and we ended up splitting it at $2,500. Small price to pay to get an allocation in 3 days….

should be delivered in 2 months.

I've been watching 981 GT4's for awhile because i wasn't sure if I'd get an allocation or not for a 718 gt4. It's pretty crazy that about 1.5 years ago they were as cheap as high 80s CAD, and then now worse ones are 115g+. Makes the 718 a no brainer when it's almost the same price.

other than taxes, which I am sure you all pay too, how does the USA rape us on car purchases? BTW your dollar is worth almost 3/4 what ours is. I am sure wages are different too.

Yes this is also correct, when I was worried about availability my SA basically told me that Australia gets prioritised above other markets because they make higher margins on us, so for once I wasn't so mad about paying so much more.

If we paid what the rest of the world does tho, I would have bought one years ago.
