Hi All. So this Saturday meet in Malibu is at 830, depart at 9am. Start point is The Reel Inn restaurant on PCH just north of Topanga Cyn Rd. The route will go up Malibu Cyn Rd to Mulholland and end at Pt. Magu State beach at about 10am. This is supposed to be a PCA registered event so if you havent registered... Im not sure of the protocols (as this is my first PCA event) - there will be waivers and probably wrist bands, blah blah blah. I say the more the merrier! Looking forward to seeing some RL members...

I drive this area a lot - this is a good route and should be a fun drive. FYI, I think it's likely some rocks and debris will have come down onto Mulholland, depending on how much rain Malibu got last night. It often takes several days for it to clear up. Keep your eyes open ...

There will be a good amount of traffic at this time too, so its not going to be a fast run... Ive never been to an official one of these and have heard that some people think its a race... I think these are more of parade than anything else... should be somewhat fun to see the other cars and drive the area...

100% agree. I've found 7-9am on Sunday morning to be the ideal time to drive this area ... AMAZING cars out, and very little other traffic. If anyone ever wants to meet up and drive, Malibu Cars and Coffee (http://www.malibucarsandcoffee.com) at Malibu Bluffs Park (NOT the disaster over at Malibu Country Mart) is a great place to start!
