First winter drive yesterday (just picked up the car at the end of November). Probably should get a winter set, but honestly, it was mostly perfect. Flipped the tail out a smidge going around a corner at an intersection (with nobody near me), but that's it.

A warm winter in S.W. Mississippi for January mid 70s; time for a wash and drive to dry out the brakes. Next morning it was 32 degrees.... glad I washed it when I did, the next day it got waxed-in the garage...

Thank you, Westcoast. Yes, it is Gentian Blue with a Graphite Blue interior. You do need a plate, but I remove the plate when it gets a wash and wax, I like to get all the nooks and crannies so to speak. I take the plate with me on the dry the brakes drive in case the blue light brigade wants to chat.

Wow, Gentian is such a chameleon colour, almost looks like Sapphire Blue in this photo... cool! Also nice to see a non-black interior as well, my 2013 Boxster S was Dark Blue Metallic and had an Agate Grey interior, it made for a great combination.
I understand the brake drying dilemma, I gave in years ago and bought a Master Blaster, expensive but oh so efficient at drying!
Oh yes, brake drying is essential for sure.
'Ya know Westcoast I think these cars have some type of artificial intelligence in them that we are not aware of. We all know that if you do not drive them for a few days and you open the door up it sounds like the soundtrack out of a Transformer movie, all kinds of clicks, whirrs and snaps. I went out in the garage this morning to put some PPF cleaner and sealant on the car and the battery tender light was orange showing not quite charged up. The minute I started applying the cleaner the battery charger light turned green-like the car knew I was pampering it...
Wishing you and all Rennlisters many happy driving miles in the coming years.
BTW I also think Agate Gray is a very complementary interior that goes well.. A friend has a Boxster Agate exterior and interior and it looks quite splendid with the red top.
