Welcome Name. Interesting first post! To compliment your post, specifically the photo on the wall in your photo: here’s a photo of my ride to the Carlisle Swap (formerly Hershey Swap) this past May. My dear friend has owned this 1973 RS for many, many years.
It drew a LOT of interest and questions.

Racing Yellow hides the dirt well! Nevertheless the sun came out today, so I took the opportunity to clean it up.
We had a Racing Yellow 981 GT4 for awhile, and my experience was the opposite! Right after it was sparkling clean, it seemed that backing out of the garage got it dirty. I could see tiny flecks of dust and exhaust on the paint. After a short drive it was dirty again. Of course, this was upon EXTREMELY close inspection (which is how my husband sees cars). It never bothered me as it’s a beautiful color. The thing I noticed most about Racing Yellow was that it attracted lots of insects, especially bees. I’d park and return to the car and routinely see 10, 20, or more bees (or similar) on the car. This happened regardless of where I was (friend’s house, grocery store, etc).

I had 2 yellow Boxsters in the past, the Speed Yellow was a bee magnet!
The view in my mirror this morning. He pulled me over to give me a warning for not having a front license plate. At least it wasn't a fix-it ticket.
Only twice in 24 years in Texas have I been pulled over for this, the first about 20 years ago. Remarkably, they were both in Lakeway TX, somewhere you never ever, ever, speed. Any. And I wasn't. This time is was a sheriff's deputy though.
Interesting picture, I will try to remember not to speed in Lakeway TX! Curious the comment about it being the sheriff's deputy, is there a significance to who pulls you over?

Hello,
Oh and Merry Christmas to you and your family.
I'm loving every minute of my Racing-Yellow GT4.
I had considered the Bright Red for it but kept going back to the Bright-Racing-Yellow and I am glad I went with it.
One thing I can say about driving it no matter where I go.
It instantly attracts on-lookers !!!
Yesterday I stopped at Shell to top up the gas tank.
A guy was Fasttttttttt walking to it and me.
As soon as I got almost out he says, (Mind if I take pictures) ???
He also asked if he could take pictures of the inside ???
And this happens frequently no matter where I go.
This GT4 just ATTRACTS on-lookers like no other car I have ever owned over all my years since starting back in the mid 60's.
I'm loving driving it more and more each time I take it out.
Oh, I have now a whopping 2,400 miles on it. LOL !!!
Terry

I agree on the insect attraction. It’s like they see it as the mother ship or something 😂
@sonicworld thank you. Yes, it is lightly optioned but in my mind still pretty much loaded (GTS trim level is high). I opted for the PDLS+, yellow chrono, brushed aluminum accents, and the bose - that’s it.
