The Official Pictures Only Thread....Shhh, No Talking
We need a random image thread for pics of any 4.0L car, any colour, any activity. I've got the summer to wait, so I'd love to drool over your cars and see them out in the wilds!
My Albert Blue Cayman GTS 4.0 Manual in its native habitat of "SavageGeese-like" Country Roads in Northern Illinois. (Seen here with its new TWL Carbon Ducktail Spoiler.)
Not nearly as scenic as some of the other pics that will be posted here, but I won't complain as I find my Country Road drives to be great fun! It is pretty flat around here, but I have found some good sweeping turns and some good 90 degree turns to mix it up. As I have explored further, it gets more hilly the further West I go, which makes it more interesting as well.
On nice days I usually go out for a drive for 1 to 1.5 hours, with no destination in mind, just driving and exploring. Great fun in this amazing car!
My mods have made the car even more fun, first and foremost the Soul Performance OAPs and VC really makes for some great noise, but also the Numeric Short Shifter (with the weighted Black Forest Industries Shift ****), AWE Wind Diffusers (those actually make a big difference for Windows-Down driving), and the DSC Controller which helps me glide across the bumpiest of roads with a Magic Carpet ride. Also let's not forget the TDesign-9 Memory Module that allows me to have the car permanently in Sport Mode, and also their great cupholder that allows me to take a drink on my rides without having to worry about it spilling all over the center console!
Thanks to all the folks here that have educated me on all the "must-have" mods...
(I would have taken a picture today and posted it, but I just dropped my car off today at the dealer. Getting my door handles replaced, the locking function for Porsche Entry & Drive wasn't working, they determined they need to replace the door handles to fix the issue.)
