Forgelines in 9x19 and 9x11. Saves 20 lbs of unsprung weight. 265/35-19 tires on front and 305/25-19s on the rear.

@lovetoturn is the difference in unsprung weight noticeable in everyday driving and backroads? Thanks!

Sorry for the delay in responding. Didn't see this until today.

Yes there is a difference, much like when you have PCCB brakes. The wheels respond more quickly to bumps in the road and the car winds out more quickly with less weight to spin when accelerating. Also the tires are 26.3 inches tall instead of 27.0 inches so the car is geared up by another 2.5%. Winds out even quicker considering that. The top speed at 8,000 rpm is further reduced by 2 mph in 2nd gear with the shorter tires. Big difference between a stock manual and PDK with shorter tires on it. For driving on the street this is not needed, but on the track, it definitely helps. I even noticed the difference in brand new tires that were 3 pounds lighter the moment I pulled out of Discount Tire one time.

Beautiful rims SlickxAC. Is that a clear brushed finish?

Are these on 265/285 Goodyear SC3R? Did you change the ride height at all?

yes, but I don't like the 265 with the 285. I am now running 265/305s and have re-adjusted the rake. My ride height is lowered (i'm not sure by how much as my shop did it) and I've had my front fenders rolled.

Gotcha, looks like they dialled the rake in nicely as looks similar to stock but lower. Why didnt you like the 265/285? Balance? Curious as to why you rolled fenders as well.

yup- car oversteered too much with front grip bias and couldn't put the power down out of exit. I didn't want to give up the turn-in feel and front grip of the 265 and am glad the 305 in the rear adds the additional rear stability and grip coming out of exit (both high speed and low speed corners). I rolled the fenders as I was getting some contact under extreme compression as my car is using shims and not camber plates.

Have the same setup with wheel offset and tires as you, but mine is poking quite a bit. I have negative camber -2.5. Do you have camber plates?
