Thats interesting. This would only exacerbate the car's understeer characteristics. What sway bar settings do you use?

I started noticing I got faster by going slower, it sounds nuts, but what I mean is, I just really smashed on the brakes before corner and just used cars mid engine/balance to give small gas as I started turning, and before I hit apex, I absolutely was on the gas, and I think having the larger rear 305 is helping me power through and out of the corners. More weight on back obviously. I have really tried to get away from loading too much weight into front tires, so for me, no understeer. And honestly, i have noticed that even when I do hit corner too fast and need to turn, these tires are way better vs cup2/race2 tires. And they hold better. Noticed they really like 31/33 hot.

it’s been a bit since setup was done, but I think I’m stiff all around

Finally finished my setup. My car does Street, AutoX and Track so I stayed with 20" and Supercar 3 tires in stock size for now.

Wheel specs Litespeed Racing Forged Mag Custom GT7:

- Bare wheel weight no caps/TPMS/etc.: 16.05 lbs per wheel
Rear:
- 20"x11" ET50 GT7
- Bare wheel weight no caps/TPMS/etc: 17.96 lbs per wheel

General:
- Spoke design change from standard GT7
- Forged Magnesium
- Satin Gunmetal finish
- OEM TPMS
- Knurled bead seat
- Center cap with "GT4" logo machined
- clear both PCCB and OEM iron brakes

Looks great. How/where did you score the rear SC3's at? They are having issues with producing that rear stock size. TR has them on perpetual back-order with no end in sight.

I got this current set mid season last year, and are about 50% gone. Going to need a new set at some point, and have no clue what I'll do yet.

Ah, that makes sense.

My SC3 rears are bald now (even so, the rear still has better grip than the Cup 2's did at just getting to the wear bars).

Since there is no end in sight for them to come off back order, I am going to give the new Yoko Neovo AD09's a try. They use the same 3rd ply stiff sidewall philosophy as the SC3's, and are pretty even grip wise. The rear stock sizes are just becoming avail. June 1st. I already have my order in at TR.

I'd like a set of A052s for Autox, I liked them before, but the fronts are out of stock on those! I think I have until July until I'll need something.

I thought about trying the A052's, but I REALLY like the stiffer sidewall feel and the A052's are pretty soft in that area, so that took them out of the running for me.

+1 on instances where 11s are recommended

I’ve been back and forth on this as well. Got to track the freshly broken in GT4 past couple of days. I can feel the understeer but I feel “ok” knowing everything is mostly oem spec.
I’m planning on going 19x9 in front and upgrading camber/toe. Been back and forth on 10.5 or 11 rear. Will the extra width upfront be enough to balance 11 in rear or should go down to 10.5?

Eleven in the rear to balance out the front nines and have the option for 305 rears to match 265 fronts.
