Love the hyperlinks to all tools suggested. Awesome. Thank you. Is it to late to add
6’ blonde, 38DD, size 4.5 waist, and a nice booty with long legs?

I recommend Jackpoint jackstands for wheels, brakes and oil changes.

Is there an advantage to these over Rennstands that I'm missing?

Really cool jack stands. I ordered the infamous pucks for when I have car on lift. The jack stands will be great since I won’t have the hydraulic lift.

I have a quick jack, but after finding that it makes taking the aero off a pain, and the fact that I’m only doing brakes, oil changes, and sway bay adjustments myself, I’m selling it to a friend and getting Rennstands by SafeJack. The QuickJack is awesome, but it takes up a lot of space when not in use and like I said, it makes getting aero off a pain in the butt.

How did you get enough clearance to put the car on the quick jack with BOTH the short and tall rubber blocks? I have to use the short blocks, and even then there's just enough space it under the car when the car is on the ground...?
I tried this approach and just couldn't get the panel off.

Personally, I know there's only the 4 recommended jack points but... there is clearly a pinch weld running down the side between each jack point on the car
I'm going to try a jack on the pinch weld (with the proper pad so it doesn't bend - I can't be the first person to try this) and put stands under the 4 points if I ever need to get the car completely up. I just can't justify buying a QuickJack for 2x the price of a good jack + jack stands and have to fuss with the underbody aero.

- Level 1: Low profile jack, wheel guide bolts, deep socket 19mm, torque wrench capable of 120 ft-lbs
- Level 1.5: Torx, universal (or just e-torx), and metric sockets (getting in 3/8in is the most common). Also because it's a Porsche, you'll more than likely need extension sockets (minimum 6in) + u-joint or swivel.
- Level 2: Electric impact wrench
- Level 3: Electric impact ratchet (saves doing the ratcheting by hand, and has a mid-range amount of torque)
- Level 4: Some place to store it all
- Level 5: QuickJack
Level 1/1.5 will get you basically every tool you'd ever need to do any type of DIY work on your car.
I did 2-4 in the past week because I have a problem....
I've also needed this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 regularly for 2 specific bolts on the engine cover that require something extremely low profile / tight fit.
TPMS Sensor: https://www.tirerack.com/tpms/detail.jsp?ID=2326
I don't have Matt's obsession or bank account but there are 6 fully loaded cabinets to the left of this picture with years worth of tools, parts and chemicals and the old school red Craftsman tool chest in the picture started everything. When I got it I never figured I could fill it, that didn't last the first summer 30 years ago.
Oh, I've also cleaned up the garage since this picture, it was making me crazy with all the clutter.

Thanks for starting this thread. I've been wanting to compile a list of new must-have items but my energy for this is being sapped by the stop-sale monster.
The purpose-made jack pads might be a better option (I don't know), but I purchased a half dozen hockey pucks over a decade ago for less than $2 apiece, and they've served very well in conjunction with an ordinary floor jack. They fit right in the steel cup, and are made of extremely hard rubber that to this day seems as durable as when new. With the weight of the vehicle on them they are not going anywhere, at least in my experience.
