Sorry to bring up an old thread, but before spending the money on this, can you comment on whether the wind buffeting at high speeds is reduced with this? With windows up in my BGTS, I usually start feeling uncomfortable wind levels above 70-80mph

Porsche went to mesh for a reason…reduced buffeting.

I don’t notice any buffeting at those speeds.

Cheers,
Harry.

The glass rear window works fine, and without it in there is too much wind. It seemed to work as well as the mesh OEM one but I like the glass better, especially since I wanted it tinted to match the side windows. And I have tested this at triple-digit speeds and I can hear music, talk to the wife without yelling, etc.

Just put in my order with windschott. I will play with it and the mesh one, to see if I can perceive a difference. Of course, this is AFTER my car arrives... ahem

Just installed mine! About 10 second installation and completely transforms the car. Glass looks and feels OEM and the match is spot on. Very happy with it. If you are on the fence, just get it--you won't regret it.

Cheap/ugly before:

Took about 10 days to arrive from Germany to the US. It shipped within 24 hours though--spent most of the time going through customs. The folks at Windschott are very responsive to their emails and great to deal with!

The thing that I like best about this solution is that it is frameless, especially where most visible, at the top.

Unless one tints it, as I did...adding a top edge as I did looks better when tinted.

Good that you are happy Bob, to me even when tinted, additional framing defeats the purpose of the frameless solution...

I just ordered one, too, and they gave me a US discount. Nice. Thanks to everyone chiming in about their experience with this.

Since I am doing the Musicar upgrade, it seemed to make sense to make the cabin quieter.
