Pete,
How long will this be offered? Does your allocation need to hit those CXX deadlines as well? (which is the same as Custom Paint)
That alone will limit availability.

Im on the list for another Spyder... Late Fall/Winter allocation if I'm lucky.

I was informed that the package should be available for the entire 2022 run. If there is 2023 it may also be available for 2023 also.

Checked out the website and video. Pretty cool.

I looked at doing this a year ago but it got bogged down so bad I just gave up.

There's no fixed "end" to production per se. As for allocations, it's my understanding that while a PTS/Custom Color allocation will be required to order Albert, Brewster, or Slate, the CXX interior should not be a limiting factor. But, again, this is out of our lane—000's contribution was focused on the configuration rather than the supply chain, and your dealer will have far more accurate answers than I can provide.

^ That matches our understanding—and I'm very curious to see if there will be a 2023 Spyder.

Hey, thank you for taking a look! 000 is something a bit different, and I get the skepticism as I shared it at various points while developing the business plan, having done Porsche magazines in the traditional ad-driven magazine model for 18 years. It just felt like time to try a new model back in 2016. My recommendation would be to maybe check out a single back issue of 000 to see if it's for you—and, if you like Spyders, I might recommend Issue 014 (CGT concept car/development) or Issue 015 (718 Spyder and GT4 from Los Angeles > Pikes Peak and back).

We're waiting for finalized pricing, but you know your CXX. The interior requires a great deal of hand labor, and then you add Ascot Brown leather from the Carrera GT—which is not regularly stocked. Black calipers are standard; PCCB is not, as some don't want PCCB—and those who do can always add it.
If this +/- $40k for the 000 package is close to being accurate, my guess is we now know what the GT4 RS may cost too.

I would be pretty surprised if this is a 40k option. I know it is special and desirable but that would be pretty absurd for a car with a sub 100k base sticker price. Especially when one considers the fact that the spyder classic interior package is 2800 bucks.....

The Spyder classic just replaces a few black leather bits with red for about the same price as the black leather option.

This is way into CXX Custom Tailoring and if spec’d PTS…would be shocked if Porsche bundles this on a large discount.

Not sure I would say that.

My understanding is that this 000 Spyder Package isn’t an official Porsche Package... you won’t see it on the Porsche website nor the configurator. it’s more a preset Exclusive Manufaktur build that was created in Collaboration with 000 Magazine. It will be expensive... based off what Pete said above, there will be small discount... but CXX is anything but cheap! My biggest guesstimate is $30-40k without custom paint.

It’s a cool concept, and great marketing for 000.

I for one love it! And if my 2nd Spyder allocation aligns, will be ordering one!

It’s not for everyone... especially the bargain buyer!

Agreed, this isn't a standard Porsche offering. This is a great joint marketing effort that has pulled together some beautiful CXX options and PTS options for hopefully some small discount. It is going to be very expensive as CXX and PTS options are. I hadn't heard of the 000 publication before...now I'm going to be $250 poorer but it looks like a beautiful publication.

The heritage pack on the speedster was under 25k and included many more options and details than the 000 package. Will be very interesting to see where the pricing ends up. Either way the package looks great.

Is the 2nd Spyder in addition to what to have right now or to replace your current Spyder?

The Speedster Heritage package was an Official Porsche package though offered directly... this is not... this is a CXX build.

Try to build a gt4 or even a “regular” 718 boxster GTS 4.0 with the spyder classic interior via CXX, I think you will be very surprised at the price.
