Call me bonkers. But id still take the spyder over a speedster.

Yes, it’s subjective whether the 991 Speedster Hunchback of Notre Dame is hideous or not.

Not to worry though, the most beautiful Porsche..AKA 718 Spyder…is getting the GT3 mill. Problem solved.

Regardless of ADM or not; still cheaper than a hunchback…er Speedster.

Shoot, when mine arrives in June I'll be at double that - 32 months - since first making contact with dealers in Oct of 2020 (First Porsche with no dealer relationships)

Default OUTTA HERE!

What an incredible day! Huge thank you to my SA, John and everyone at Porsche of Colorado Springs. Perfect Bluebird Colorado day to drive her four hours home over two mountain passes. Over 300 miles on the clock already. So glad I got the Burmester, it’s unreal.
This car is just sublime!

Default Next on Deck

After a year plus wait, out of the blue I was offered a BGTS 4.0 allocation that someone cancelled. My car is scheduled to start production next week. I wanted a classic configuration. Here are the details:

Agate Grey
Black Top
Silver Wheels
Locking Wheel Bolts
6 Speed MT
Black/Bordeaux Red Leather Interior with Crest in the Headrest (no Race-Tex)
Steering Wheel in Leather w/Heat/Multifunction
Steering Column in Leather with Deviated Stitching
Carbon Fiber Trim-including the Gear Lever
Ventilated Seats
2-way seats (I am the only driver)
Smoking Package
Premium Package
Headlight Cleaning System Painted Agate Grey
Porsche Logo in Satin Black
PDLS
Bose

Hopefully time flies. I truly enjoyed observing the excitement that this thread generates. This will be my third Boxster and this process never gets old.

I finally scheduled my delivery date with PEC ATL. Because of their back log they can't fit me in until the second week in June! 2 more months wait!
Hoping someone cancels so they can fit me in sooner. I pondered just having them ship the car directly and avoid the experience... but I think in the end it will be worth the wait.

Man, that sucks. I’m hoping to schedule the delivery in 3rd or 4th week of June since my YTD is showing 6/20 at the final destination. I guess I should add 2 months on the top of it?

Has your car left the port yet? If I recall correctly, often times people get stuck at the port and have shipping delays. My point is, by the time the car makes it to the US, it might not be much longer of a wait for PEC than you think.
