Official Waiting Room for 718 Spyder / GT4 / GTS Delivery...

Greetings got redirected here as the place for people waiting on their cars
My spyder started Production 12/5. Latest finish date on the website is now 4/5, next week. According to my SA it is waiting on the TPMS.
Wait boggles the mind like where do they store the cars that are waiting on one item that every car would need???How do they queue the cars back in when the supply arrives?
One would think every Porsche is supplied with TPMS and hard to imagine it is a different system given all the other interchangeable parts in the cars.
The rest of the build is standard with the exception of the BOSE but SA claims that is not the holdup nor the lights incase someone is thinking of that.
anyone have an idea?

Have you tracked your car's progress through MyPorsche (AKA Track Your Dream) to validate this information? I've not heard of any TPMS delays. My Spyder was just produced a few weeks ago - no TPMS delays.

Strange. I find it hard to believe it's held up on TPMS... because all of us have had card produced since you're been in production.
You don't have any non standard options added at all? Are you doing Euro delivery?
There's only one other occurrence that I remember reading about here where someone's car was "lost" in production for a month due to some issue - I'm not sure it was figured out what the hold up was... then that same car was stuck at port for a month again. Just bad luck perhaps?
Hopefully your SA can get more information because that would be frustrating. 3 months waiting for it to progress since December is a long time to wait.

yeah I will see what happens next week. Can't imagine what part it is that is so special that other cars are being completed and mine isn't. It is about a vanilla of a configuration as you can get.

I took delivery of my Spyder back in November 2022. I have 4,500 miles on it already. Last week, due to a flat tire, I took the Spyder back to the dealership for the first time. I love walking the dealership floor to see everything. I saw 992 GT3 touring, 991 Speedster among a lot of nice P cars. You know you have the right car when you see nothing on the floor you would rather have. I am a lucky bastard to have a 718 GT car. And you guys are lucky bastards in waiting.

I'm not even a Spyder owner and I wouldn't either if the cost/value/rarity wasn't taken into consideration. I personally think the 991 speedster is proportionally hideous. The engine is the only appealing thing about it IMO.
