she’s doing that again in the Gulf of Mexico right now. Might be taking delivery in about a week.

funny you mention feeling that way. Same thing happened to me once my car was on the ship. That was a huge relief. I’m much calmer now even though I’m obsessively tracking the route. Learning interesting trivia about cargo ship behavior. Guess it’s normal to go into a holding pattern a few hundred miles off port just pacing a few hours one direction then back the other for a couple days.

Also, I have a $15K ADM, but I am going to try and see if I can get that reduced. That ADM was agreed upon last July which was "a different world" from today. You paying ADM? If so, how much? Did you try and renegotiate the ADM?

Yes, my Spyder is almost at the San Diego port, very strange feeling having the Spyder so close now.

You agreed to the ADM of 15K. You should pay the 15k. Just like I didn't like when the dealer pulled the 10k ADM on me when my car was being delivered when we agreed to MSRP. I ended up passing on the car. It goes both ways. You should stick to your word of what you agreed to. Just my two cents and what I would do.

I feel for you, I really do, but you should have seen the crap I had to put up with since people did not like all the Miami Blue stuff I did to the interior of the Targa GTS I had before my Spyder. I did not take it well at times and did my share of name-calling, but I did so when others started it. I finally let it go since it put me on their level. Needless to say, anyone here can report a post via the icon in the lower left center of each post.

no problem! Excited to see you are finally getting your Spyder after all this time. I'll be down in the Palm Springs area around July if you happen to be up that way (a few hours i know) and i'll be taking the GT4 down. Cant wait to see some final delivery pics from you!

When I got to finance I agreed to send that $2.5K in found money over to the PPF column (I had previously decided I did not need it) and they tallied things up. I paid what they asked. A few days later the F&I gal called me saying she had made a mistake and undercharged me by $2500. I immediately figured it was them trying to get that $2500 back and I got slightly perturbed. But when I ran the numbers, sure enough, they didn't collect the entire amount due under a $12.5K ADM deal. I could have stuck them with it. But that's not good business. They made a mistake and collected $2500 than I agreed to pay. I wouldn't have felt right about keeping the dough. I paid the money. What comes around goes around.
