No way! It looks much higher than 9'4". Are you sure?
I'll double check this AM. But I'm 90% certain.
Quick math, 50" car + 50" car + 6" lift + 6" buffer is 112"
Also its the HD-9 so 9k not 8k. Found the original bill. March 2014!
Measured: 9'4.5" in the middle of the lift, actually where the upper car is tallest. 9'6" at beginning of the lift. 9'4" at the end of the lift. It's hard to eye ball perfectly, but the upper car is about 8" from the ceiling, while resting on the locks. The lift is 57" off the ground in the middle. Lift is about 6" thick when taking into account the cable shields underneath
When I originally bought the lift it was for an S2000 and a Lotus Elise. The Lotus was short enough where i could go one locking point higher. The s2000, 991, 718s are all about the same height, 49-50" tall. That's about all you can stack. Could maybe get a 52" car. We had a 2019 A5 Sportback that was 54.6" and it was too tall.

Thanks. I have an A5 Sportback and CGTS, and a 2014 GT500, and an ND Miata coming, so my 9'2" ceiling will work for some but not all combinations of cars. Good to know. THANKS!
And to keep it on topic, this is my friend's setup. Also under 10', likely 9.5' plus that beam. (911T was mine, Spyder is his)
Oh wait, need SB in there to keep it on topic...

Reason: Adding some Shark Blue
when my dealer’s manager saw the build for this car he called me and said they would not order this car with the shark blue matching wheels. He said it was really ugly. So I sent him a zillion photos of classic 911’s with body color wheels - a Porsche tradition. The option was on the configurator so Porsche was not against this look.
What do you think? Car is always a hit at cars and coffee meets- kids really like the car.

Only because you asked. It's not for me. And I love Shark Blue. It's just too much.

are you the same guy with the sheepskin seat covers?
I am trying to finalise my GT4RS order and I have been considering going non WP. I really like the rear window decal but there are only three colour options - red, yellow or blue. Clearly blue will be invisible, so that is no use. I have steel brakes and like the red calipers, so wanted to gauge people’s thoughts on red decals please?
^^
I'm not really a decals guy in general... stickers on a car not my thing... that's just me.
The car already boasts - "look at me"... it's a loud looking car (in a good way) - and it has a lot of badging on it already...
It also already has "PORSCHE" in large font on the rear. Do you really need it displayed again on the rear window?
If you are set on it - I think the color red works well - it aligns with the other red badging and the brakes. Would you consider perhaps blacking out the PORSCHE logo below the brake light which is also a factory option? That may look better and reduce the redundance of multiple PORSCHE badges on the rear...

Red decals on the blue car look really nice. I really like decals they make a car standout-- I also spec the steel brakes on my GT3 in shark blue just to keep the red calipers. THey you can match the inside with red belts, red fire extinguisher, red gauges --- and I always like the shark blue body colored interior trim. Decals are not permanent do no damage and are easily removed. I have a shop in London England make up decals to my design and have learned how to apply them myself. One problem with factory body decals is that if you want to put PPF on the car then the decals will be under the PPF and this can leave a line where the PPF does not conform the the edges of the decal.
