That looks like an earlier hold order. Unless they have a second hold for the same reason I believe the hold announced this week is for some other issue.

That was from my initial post and was for the LA Region only. I would assume other Dealers received the same target email/info of their affected vehicles. It also doesn't account for the calls already sold and out on the road.
Just had call from SA, delivery stop, my car (Spyder PDK) just arrived at dealership today.
No clues yet, enough time for PPF, quartz and other important pre-delivery stuff
Let me know how if they will do that with a stop sale order.

i asked my dealer to get mine prepped while Porsche gets it sorted and they have done nothing. It’s still wearing the amniotic sac and the pool noodle.

It is sold already, not delivered, the car is shipped further for detailing (ppf and stuff), and then return to dealer again. Will see the car before delivery (at detailer).

Same. I asked for some work, but they won't move/touch/do work until the fix is complete (all for liability reasons)...
OK, so I am in the same boat, so to speak. I paid for my CGTS on 3/13/21, got ppf/ceramic detailing, but the dealer won't release my car. I told my SA that he has custody of my baby; I only have visitation rights, not even joint custody. I go over to the dealership after work and sit in my car & start it up, admire the full leather interior, adjust dials, seats, etc. Pretty darn pitiful!

Agree. My SA said it's affecting 172 cars; all are 4.0L GTS, GT4 and Spyder. This is a new stop sale that the dealers were informed of sometime late Tuesday or early Wednesday morning in the US. No mention of Taycan or 992.
