CONRODS have actually arrived, apparently a couple of fixings still expected, but fingers crossed I’ll have my car in a couple of weeks (booked in for PPF on 5th July so might all come together)

I am also from the UK, GT4 PDK arrived mid March, haven't heard from Porsche OPC in a week or two. Just wondering, what if any, compensation package/warranty upgrade have you negotiated?

they offered me an extra year warranty which I rejected, I told them absolute minimum would be double the original 3 year warranty which they agreed. Any other compensation would be after I’d taken delivery of the car. Not expecting too much there but see what happens.

hopefully the two small fixings arrive this week and might still get the car right at the end of June.

my car also arrived at the dealer mid March (around 14th or something as I paid for it on 17th) give the dealer a phone see where you are at. I was offered a replacement engine but some way off with time so happy enough with the 6 year warranty so far.

I've got 8 years warranty and a roadtrip to the Zuffenhausen Factory (with my own car).
Yesterday I decided to send an email to Zuffenhausen (let's spam together, contact@porsche.de)

I’m in Sydney Australia and my cayman 4.0 has been affected. 3 others in the same dealership have as well. If they say they don’t know they are not being up front.

I presume with 8 years you are not in the U.K.

we have to beg for scraps here despite our tiny population being the 4th biggest Porsche market in the world.

A friend in NJ sent me this. It's for one of the 20 GT4's that were delivered then impounded. I'd call it "Fully Dressed"

That's a beauty! Thanks for sharing...

Has anyone heard from Porsche what something like this would cost, I am sure that you can only order a long block under normal circumstances, fully dressed like that must be expensive!

Fingers crossed 🤞 that we start to hear about engine replacement progress for undelivered cars. Halfway through June and activity seems slow to start.

I think I read $25k in the 991.1 GT3 con-rod thread. Different, motor I know but with inflation etc…….. it might be close. 1/4 value of the car wouldn’t’ surprise me.

Probably a decent guess, but if anything seems a little light to me. Makes me wonder, though, what a fully-prepared engine for the base and S models would cost, given the turbo and extra plumbing, and other related doo-dads. Maybe they'd "salvage" the turbo if that was the engine in question.

Is anyone else who's waiting on engine replacement getting restless? I'm spending way too much time on auction sites looking to buy something else so I don't lose the entire summer of driving. The problem is that pricing and overall demand on anything Porsche is thru the roof. I really wish PCNA would provide a more detailed replacement schedule. If I knew my car would be delivered around x date, I might be able to resign myself waiting.

PS - I've been told I'm number 50 of 180 in line in US. But what does that mean?
