MR (Manthey Racing) package for 718 GT4
#361
Sorry if this seems like a repeat but I can't find a clear answer in the thread. Does a new GT4 (MY23) have divots / guides for where to install all 6 pieces of the 4RS air guides? And do you need to source any hardware beyond what comes with the kits (2 part numbers) from Porsche?

When I stopped by MR during my euro delivery they simply handed me the brochure for the 981 package, thought it was a little funny. This was before 4RS we’re being delivered so I’m sure it’s a little different now

Does any one have the dimensions of the air guides? I just need the length of the fins. Going to make a prototype out of rubber molding to get a base line for the air guides. Also it will allow me to mess around with length and placement of each air guide.

Hey, does anyone know the part number(s) for the rear toe links used in this kit?
QUOTE=TDT;17266791]This was the MR kit for OEM suspension for 981
In the kit you get:
What do you get in the kit…
- GT3 Cup Control Arm Ends.. Which are longer in the metal casting as well as longer bolts allowing for more camber and safety. Solid Bushing with dust covers
- Shims
- Cup Tie Rods which are longer. Stock items limiting factor on how much front camber you can achieve.
- RS Thrust/Tension Arms which are longer on the diagonal to the Lower Control arm allowing for more camber and managing caster. Solid Bushing with dust covers
- Brake Ducts to fit the new thrust arms
- New stretch bolts.
- Adjustable Rear Toe Arms - as you know OEM Toe arms are solid/fixed/non-adjustable so you are then limited on your front adjustment because you cannot change the rear enough to balance out.
- And some little body kit extenders which are supposed to be fitted somewhere but require self tapers into the body work - so I have them but have not fitted them.
All Porsche or Porsche Motorsport parts.
Apart from the little body extenders with are actually P/N shared with MK7 Golf R.
It allows high level of adjustment for various set-ups and also great precision due to replacing quite a few rubber bushing with solid ones. NVH is not adversely affected.
I felt like i got more sensations back through the steering wheel and more fluid precise location and response.[/QUOTE]
