Hey all, I'm trying to decide between a 981 Spyder and a GTS 4.0, but I've never gotten a ride or been able to experience a 4.0 car. Before I make the call I would love to do that! Is there anyone here in the Austin that would be willing to give me a quick ride? I'd be happy to buy you lunch before or afterwards or a nice bottle of wine if you're not interested in hanging out with me after the ride lol. Thanks so much!

I'm currently in Paris (woot!) but will check back to see if you've found a ride yet after I get back (December 4th). it will be a GT4 so not a perfect match but if you've gotten no other offers I'll be glad to oblige... no compensation needed. Why not consider a 718 Spyder vs GTS if you’re considering a 981 Spyder?

I'd prefer a 718 Spyder, but I'd also prefer not to spend $130k to get one. The cheapest one I've seen is on CarMax for $120k but it's a stripper and still $25k over MSRP.
We are planning on an entertaining route to the Hill Country from Sugar Land, a casual lunch, spend the night on 3/5, early morning start to burn gas on our Twisted Sisters route on 3/6, then back to H-town on the evening of 3/6.
