What tires comes from the factory on a new GTS 4.0

Actually the N-Spec variants of the PZ4 are a very good tire when new, pretty much a wash with the PS4S and that's what matters to Porsche. That's the whole concept behind manufacturer spec, each brand must meet certain design parameters and Porsche tests them to validate. The problem I found is the Pirelli's performance drops off fast as they wear.
It's the same situation on the UHP tires. I want the Cup2's in the worst way but I won't know until the car shows up whether it has them or the Dunflops. However, by all accounts, the Dunlop's seem to perform just as well and may even last longer.

Michelin PS4S is indeed the golden ticket and it is easy to tell how true this is when many Dealers get comments about wanting to switch tires or if there is any way to designate the Michelins. I simply made sure I did not miss Church for the 4 month build/delivery status of my Cayman GTS and my prayers were answered with 4 beautiful little Michelin air filled donuts, ha!!
