I always wanted an arrow blue car with white wheels and if I was ordering now, it would be shark blue (save the PTS hassle and cost even though I do like arrow blue more). At this point, I just want my car out of stop sale purgatory

Jeff, what’s the appeal of the 911r shifter other than the carbon fibre? Is it a different shape / size? Just trying to figure out what $1k gets you.

Absolutely nothing…purely aesthetics. I have the CF trim and wanted to complete the look. As soon as I saw the R shifter, I knew I had to have it. DB Carbon also has a similar shifter for a bit less money I think. I wanted oem.

Well, in my case it also gives me a leather shifter and boot with the matching silver stitching. I didn’t opt for the leather wheel/shifter because I wanted to keep the deviated stitching and I knew I was going with this shifter anyway. If I don’t like the wheel, I will swap that out later.

Now for something truly divisive. I’m starting with the white wheels but might eventually go full mid-life crisis with a Martini inspired wrap. From sleek and sexy to fun and silly Like the tattoos I’ve never gotten, this might not make it past the design stage, but daydreaming sure helps kill the time while I wait for my car.

Default Spyder PPF

Hi all!
will be getting a CWM Spyder tomorrow used w/ 1700 miles. Very excited and it’s very much like yours Jeff.
lucky enough to call Bob Z a friend and has helped me for several years when we both had 911’s.
my question is about PPF on the rear. What are suggestions to do? Really not wanting to do entire car so thinking what to cover. Entire rear bumper? What in front of tires….needed? Don’t like lines….they draw dirt!
TIA and great job Jeff!!
Rob
