Default Christmas Goodies - What did you get / ask for?

While I wait for the car I had the following on the Christmas list:
  • Cover
  • Side markers
  • License plate holder (the mustang one)
  • Tire gauge
  • Tire tote bag set
  • Silver sport gas cap
While I wanted to add Titanium Exhaust to the list I thought I better not push my luck. Merry Christmas all, and thank you all very much for your help and information sharing.

Uncle, thanks for sharing this list, I thought that you might find it interesting that your wish for a Titanium Exhaust is shared by others!

As a kid and still a kid at heart I always found it tough to wait until Christmas morning, my wife knows this and told me that I could spend some time on Christmas Eve before dinner and open a present or two...

So without hesitation it was off with the old and on with the new!

Happy Holidays to you! Hoping you will get your car sooner than later.

I am waiting for my Spyder to come in 4/2021. In the mean time:
1. Clear Side markers
2. Window Foiler Wind Diffusors
3. "Spyder" Rear Emblem
4. Side Intake screens
5. Dash Cam integrated into Rear View Mirror

Debating either Dundon's Street Header Exhaust system or "Go-For-Broke" JCR full exhaust system and a Softronics Tune

Refresh my mind on the license plate holder you're talking about. I remember reading about it I think, but don't remember the specifics. A link would be awesome.

My girlfriend gave me a Ferrari Monza SP2 and a Rolex Rainbow Daytona.

Ok. She really gave me a pair of Air Jordan’s but it was still cool.

I’m curious why you didn’t go with the JCR over axle pipe? I’m considering the same set up.

My wife got me PDK so I would not order the 6 speed. Kids gave me wind deflectors, Porsche license plate frame and an aluminum gas cap. All I need now is the car.

Default Clear Side Markers

Clear side markers from my wife. The easiest upgrade I’ve ever done, literally 30 seconds per side. The movie below shows what they look like turned off and then on.

Are you saying your wife gave you cash for the option price of the PDK?

All of this was more of a confluence of ideas and opportunities how it came to be, by this I mean that knew that I was going to do the OAP but it was long before JCR actually released theirs, in fact I had talked to Jonny about this and he had offered a test pipe in stainless so I could hear it, something we never got quite organized. At that same time I talked my buddy with a GT4 into buying this JCR system, in my opinion the best design for sound and volume, plus substantial weight savings.

The Canadian dollar is very weak against the GBP (1.75×), because of this and indeed no JCR OAP available back in July to order I looked for a substitute, the Akra link pipe in Titanium was a good alternative at an incredible price, still it took two different attempts through different channels to secure one and it only arrived just this week!

In between all of this waiting, a change of situation for my buddy with the GT4 arose that led me to agree to buy his JCR system, so it has actually been on the Spyder for a few weeks, and as of yesterday now fronted by the Akra pipes. Normally I would prefer a matching system, but as I said above this configuration was more about product availability and timing!

Today I have to be on good behavior , so I have yet to fire it up and go for a spin....
