At that same time I talked my buddy with a GT4 into buying this JCR system, in my opinion the best design for sound and volume, plus substantial weight savings.

The Canadian dollar is very weak against the GBP (1.75×), because of this and indeed no JCR OAP available back in July to order I looked for a substitute, the Akra link pipe in Titanium was a good alternative at an incredible price, still it took two different attempts through different channels to secure one and it only arrived just this week!

In between all of this waiting, a change of situation for my buddy with the GT4 arose that led me to agree to buy his JCR system, so it has actually been on the Spyder for a few weeks, and as of yesterday now fronted by the Akra pipes. Normally I would prefer a matching system, but as I said above this configuration was more about product availability and timing!

Today I have to be on good behavior , so I have yet to fire it up and go for a spin....
you‘re gonna love the sound above 5000rpms I am curious to hear your assessment of drone with valves closed under 3000 rpms.

I ordered soul competition headers as my Xmas gift. I usually get socks and sweatpants, so I'm making up for past years. But in reality don't really want much, just some free time to play video games once my kids are asleep

Hey, you even have a car to install them in!

Looks like there have been some very good guys and gals - some of you have quite the haul! Now I know where to get my exhaust done (Westcoast’s shop)

Fantastic, you have the same setup I think I will end up with, just need to hear it 😄

Cheers,

So without hesitation it was off with the old and on with the new!

Stainless Steel Porsche OEM PSE

Titanium JCR Silenced Valved Race Exhaust and Akrapovic Link Pipe Set (Inconel Rolled tips and Cargraphic valve controller not shown)
Did Akrapovic end up removing the brackets on the OAPs? Mine have the brackets but appears yours may not...but could simply be the angle.

So far my wife bought me the full tech equipment package and a car cover...
Dealer gave me clear markers installed when I got the car.

Pretty sure I’m getting some driving gloves and detailing chemicals as well a ceramic coat.

I feel incredibly spoiled and haven’t been able to tell anyone!

No brackets on the OAP's that I have, just unused sensor ports...
