So, I may have to start shopping elsewhere for a PTS allocation.
When I tried for PTS, the Exclusive Advisor mentioned that there was a window for a certain number of GT4/Spyders to be approved. Apparently, he said that a certain number is allocated to GT4 and a certain number is allocated to Spyder. Once you submit your order, you're placed in kind of a virtual queue that nobody knows where you are except for PAG and it seems nobody will divulge your order queue number either. On the first allocation month, I was told I missed it by 5 cars but he thought I had a very good chance of getting approved on the first round of allocations. He said PAG apparently allowed a much smaller batch. He said he was hopeful for the second month but couldn't guarantee anything even with me being 5 cars out. Ultimately, I got pull forward because my order was completely ready to go. When I submitted my order, I didn't make any changes what so ever so maybe that helped. Don't know since nobody ever clarified but as I've heard on these forums, if you're trying for PTS, finalize your build, submit it, and stop making changes and hope for the best. Good luck.

So is V215 the virtual queue you refer to? Or to put it another way, if I’m v215 an I approved for a PTS slot but waiting to be allocated the slot?

Prior to my car actually being approved with PAG for PTS, I think it was either V100 or V170 or something like. It was only after PAG gave the official PTS approval and acceptance that it went to V215.

I hear ya! Can't really depend on dealers. Their list is highly fluid; shuffled to accommodate individuals who serve their interests rather. I'm gonna give my dealer three more months; if I don't hear back, will start making calls in January. Thanks.

Good details; thanks. Right now, the allocations are too scarce. From January, I plan to get super active.

Awesome! Guessing it's Shark Blue, correct? Brilliant with the silver wheels and the PCCBs. Enjoy!

My order / build sequence went like this -

1/7/21 - Build submitted & Commission # given.
There was a delay due to "Text Handling" which is normal for a PTS and/or CXX order, if I recall it was V100 or V110.
1/25/21 - V180
1/26/21 - V200 & V215 Both given on same day, not sure how often this happens.
4/28/21 - V220
5/6/21 - V250
6/11/21 - V300
7/19/21 - Delivery

My original production date only changed by a week or so but delivery was within a day or two of the original estimation.

Also FWIW my build was very "light" on electronics requiring chips - base seats, no PCM, etc. wither or not it helped who knows.
