As you’ve probably heard me say, I walked away from my stop-sale car and got an allocation from another dealer I have never visited. The schedule was for the order to lock on 9/7 and the car to be delivered 11/26. Then I raised the bar and asked the SA I’ve never met to get me a PTS slot. Just got word that they approved it. I’m going with Porsche Racing Green Metallic, black/Bordeaux interior, satin Aurum wheels and a manual transmission. Really excited about a getting a green metallic that’s more green than Aventurine.
I still don’t know the new build schedule.
Every interaction I have convinces me that kissing the ring of a dealer yields nothing of value. They say customer loyalty pays dividends but I just don’t buy it.

We have some PTS options.
Olive Green Spyder for sale on pcarmarket. Buy it now price of $155K. MSRP was $138K. Tag on a $1K dealer fee and the auction fees and you have yourself a nice rip off.

Whats crazy is it looks like they sold the 2020 gt4 stripper they had that was over 20g above msrp and it didn't even take them too long to do it.

I looked at the BGTS 4.0 configurator and satin Aurum wheels are an option under wheel accessories. You can only get it with the standard issue 718 wheels. I missed it for a long time because I didn’t realize colors are wheel accessories.

I basically agree. I put down deposits at two different dealers for a GT4 RS; the first around Nov. 2015(!) and the second a year or two later and I doubt they will buy me anything. I have also dutifully done as I promised the dealer that granted me an allocation to build a 981 GT4--taken all of my cars there for service and attended most of their events--and I doubt it really means anything, especially since the GM got switched out. I have tried to develop a relationship with the new one but I'd be surprised if he knows more about me than my name, if that. This dealer is also about 70 mins. from my home and there are at least six closer, including one less than ten mins. away. I believe a lot is completely hit or miss.

Got my build sheet for a Porsche Racing Green Metallic PTS with satin aurum wheels and black/bordeaux leather. Options are ventilated seats, black brushed aluminum trim, premium package, and smoking package. Here's the code:
http://www.porsche-code.com/PNY2S8A5
Status is "V215 - Blocked by PAG - Not Changeable".
If I'm at V215 have the build schedule and delivery date been determined?
I'm assuming I either can't change anything or can't change anything without a delay at this point. Is that correct?
Thanks.

V215 and V250 are weird statuses because V215 is "blocked by PAG - not changeable" and V250 is vehicle is fixed which without explanation seems to be the same thing. In an email I received from my exclusive advisor when I got approved and went V215, he said "my order is V215 status (S3 Material Ordered) meaning that the paint is processed and ordered by PAG from the supplier. This effectively locks the car." It seems that V215 locks the car with the paint selection. I don't know if you're able to still make changes to other options but I suspect if you do, you run the risk of delay or maybe even the PTS order being canceled. I pushed for PTS with the advice from some people on this forum to lock down your options asap and once you submit a PTS request, don't make any changes.
If you do make changes, please keep us up to date so we know how making changes while in V215 affects your build.

17540912[/url]]Congrats! If I remember correctly, V200 is when delivery date is determined and I don't believe it necessarily follows numeric order such as V200 and then V215 and so forth. I think my delivery date determined status came just a few days after I went V215.

I will add that I also ordered CXX options and the photobook so don't know if any of these special options contributed to the 4 delays.

Thank you for that info. Nine months from v215 puts me in March 2022 after I placed an order in December 2020. It becomes absurd at some point.
Hopefully I’ll have better luck with the timing.

Does anyone know if the PTS allocations are bunched up together and built in a batch? That's how it used to be. But, it now seems PTS gets approved sporadically. I have been waiting on my local dealer to give me an allocation; they claim not to have received any in many months. They are non-committal about future possibility. So, I may have to start shopping elsewhere for a PTS allocation.
