I have a similar one if not the same. I removed the sport chrono but couldn’t see anything and everything was tight. Nothing obvious coming from the frunk by the windshield either when I pulled off the plastic cover under the hood. Driving me crazy.

My rattle was a loose front tie rod from my recent suspension alignment and track prep. Was not a Porsche issue. My installer tightened up a bolt and all is well.

I just picked up my GT4 yesterday and there is a rattle somewhere in the driver side door. I can not pinpoint where it is coming from.

Check the pull out cargo bin?

I had a bad rattle that was the piece of plastic trim that covers the seatbelt aperture. There are these silly little plastic sleeves that index in the structural member which the trim loosely slots into and those were rattling around when my car was only 1 week old. Popped the piece of trim off and packed the bits in with some silicon tape and it worked.

I just made a complete initial impression post, but I wanted to only add the rattle specifically here as it is relevant to the thread.

Yep, checked there, that's not it. It definitely seems to be coming from the door somewhere.

when my doors are open the passenger side window rattles if you lightly push on it. the drivers side is solid. I don’t know yet if this is the cause of the rattle on the passenger side. The car was tight and quiet until I jacked it up. Anyone have a loose window that rattles?

Rattles and squeaks can ruin the experience, and I have sold a couple in the past where they could not be resolved. So far my Spyder is noise-free, other than those from the exhaust and engine!

Well, I feel stupid.

I found the source. So on delivery day, I didn't hear any sounds. Then the next day and thereafter I did. Well it just dawned on me and just tested it out. I luckily got both my keys, well one had a small keyring on it, the other had nothing on it.

The first night, I used the key with out the ring on it and thereafter the other key. Sure enough, that was the source of the rattle. I had been driving the hour with the key with nothing on it and not a peep the entire time.

DOH!!! It has been a long time indeed since I had a car that you needed to insert the key. I forgot what goes with that, lol.

I had some noise in my hatch area. Dealer gave me three thicknesses of foam tape to try (at my request, it was raining the day I took it in so they couldn’t diagnose). I played around with the adjustable hatch feet (screw in and out) and put thin foam strips on the wedges mid hatch - perfect fix!

I guess I'm the only one that immediately took that stupid cargo cover out and put it into storage so I could hear the exhaust louder

I've just picked up a delivery miles white 718 GT4 and am absolutely smitten, what a car it is! I've had quite a few Porsche over the years and it is by far my favorite.

The car has a couple of rattles at different speeds and road surfaces and was wondering if any other owners have experienced the same? I appreciate it's never going to be a quiet car but at the same time I didn't expect rattles from a new car.

One seems to be coming from the passenger airbag area (RHD btw) and the other from the passenger rear engine cover area.

Any help would me much appreciated, as I have spoken to the dealer and have to call in next time I'm passing but I don't really want my car being ripped apart if it can be avoided.

Cheers in advance.
During my 130 miles prior to being in hibernation for the winter I will unequivocally state that I couldn’t possibly discern any rattles over the cacophony of sounds from the engine behind my head. Next project is disconnecting the sound symposer and then I might be able to hear any rattles come spring resurrection.
