After 5 days of driving in the snow I would have thought it would help been a lot dirtier!?

Very nice colour combo with the Platinum wheels!

Love it! This was one of our original colors that we kicked around. A red sports car is always a classic way to go. Care to share some interior pics?

Thanks, all of my previous Porsches were some variation of grey. Needed a change. The first 5 days were snow-free (Big storm for the northeast last night.) I actually didn't take any interior pics, but it's pretty simple. Black 18-ways, brush-aluminum trim instead of exterior color and the shifter and steering wheel have no-cost switch from race-tex to leather.

Wow! Really gorgeous car. Didn't realize Guards and Platinum wheels looked so good together!

God bless,

In one of the very early journalist tests that Porsche organized, PistonHeads did a video with a guards red GT4 that had platinum wheels. I was sold. And, as an added bonus, it was nice to check at least one box on the configurator that is marked "$0"

Finally going to pickup my 2021 Spyder with PDK tomorrow. Ordered car 7/15/20....Its feels like I have been waiting forever. Flying from NY to Porsche Jacksonville, Fl.
There I will take delivery and drive it to my home in Venice, FL where she will stay. I will have a tough time sleeping tonight...thank god I have an early flight!

Flying in the opposite direction today to pick up my BGTS. We end up in Englewood after the long drive. We’ll have to get together for some spirited excursions!

Car arrived at dealership today. Going to Darien Detail for full XPEL+Ceramic on Monday before it ships across the country to me. So another 3-4 weeks of wait for me but I am happy we are all getting our Christmas gifts

That is funny. My car (BGTS) also arrived today - I assume the same dealership Fairfield. Mine is also going to Darien Detail for XPEL and Ceramic as well. Which car is yours - B, Cayman, GT4 or Spyder?

As per Nick’s recommendation I am going to do the full front, rocker panels under doors, side mirrors, and the rear quarter by the air intake. What made you opt for full XPEL?

I have put my 2000 Boxster S away every winter for 20 years. I want to drive this new one. Fairfield has a set of OEM winter tires ready to be mounted.

You bought a car here to ship cross country?

Ah yes, Fairfield. I thought about doing partial which my current Macan and previous 911 had but this being a GT car and I am going to daily drive this as well as plan to track the car. So, I thought reducing any possibility of paint damage will bode well down the line when I decide to sell the car. If I didn't and if something happened to doors or any panels not protected, I would regret it.

We only have one good dealer in Seattle area who is great to work with and doesn't charge ADM but the wait list was too long so I decided to shop around and Nick Murray (YouTube) helped get an allocation from Fairfield. And so far they are awesome to deal with. I even traded in my 911 to them (shipped cross country).

I picked up my BGTS on Tuesday and took her right to the detailer for full PPF + ceramic coating on top with window tint. She will be ready by Monday end of day. All this waiting is driving me nuts!! 😁

Darien Detail does fantastic work. Luckily they are less than a mile from me. I’ll check on your new toy for you if you would like. BTW, the gents up at Fairfield are great. Glad it worked out for you.
